地黄粥 大能利血生精，吐血者，宜常食之妙。用怀庆生地黄，以铜刀切二合，与粳米二合，同
入罐中煮之，候熟以酥二合，白蜜一合，同炒香，入内再煮熟食。
一方 治内热吐血。用青黛二钱，新汲水调服。
一方 治吐血损肺。炼成钟乳粉，每三钱，糯米汤调下立止。
一方 治吐血不止，青柏叶一握，干姜二片，阿胶一挺炙，水二升，煮一升，另绞藕
汁，或童便一盏，去渣服。
一方 治恚怒呕血。烦满少气，胸胁疼痛。青柏为散，米饮下二三匕。
一方 治吐血衄血。白胶香、蛤粉，等分为末，姜汁调下。
一方 治暴卒吐血。锻石于刀头上烧研，每二钱，用井水调下。
一方 治吐血胸膈刺痛。用大黄一两为散，每一钱，以地黄汁一合，水煎服。
一方 治心热吐血不止。生葛捣汁半升，炖服。
一方 治内损吐血。飞罗面略炒，以京墨汁，或藕节汁，调服二钱。
一方 治吐血，诸药不效者。桃奴烧末，米饮下。
一方 治卒暴吐血。双荷散、藕节、荷蒂各七个，蜜少许，捣烂，水煎温服，或丸服。
一方 治吐血咯血。干荷叶焙干为末，每二钱，米汤下。
一方 治吐血。败荷叶为末，蒲黄等分，每三钱，麦冬汤下。
一方 治吐血衄血，阳盛于阴，血热妄行。宜服四生丸，生荷叶、生艾叶、生柏叶、
生地黄等分捣烂，丸如梧桐子大，每水煎一丸服。
一方 治吐血如鹅鸭肝。用生犀角、生桔梗，各一两，末之，水服二钱。
一方 治诸失血。用 柴叶浓煎水服，或入药服尤妙。
地黄粥：具有极强的活血生精功效，吐血患者适宜经常食用，效果奇妙。取怀庆产的生地黄，用铜刀切成二合（容量单位），与粳米二合同放入罐中煮制，待煮熟后，加入酥油二合、白蜜一合，一同炒香，再倒入粥中煮至熟透即可食用。
另一配方：治疗内热引起的吐血。取青黛二钱，用新汲取的井水调匀后服用。
另一配方：治疗因吐血损伤肺脏。使用炼制过的钟乳粉，每次三钱，用糯米汤调服，可立即止血。
另一配方：治疗吐血不止。取青柏叶一把，干姜两片，阿胶一块（炙烤处理），加水两升，煮至剩下一升药液；另取藕汁一杯，或童便（儿童尿液）一盏，去渣后服用。
另一配方：治疗因愤怒导致的呕血。症状表现为烦闷胀满、气短、胸胁部疼痛。将青柏叶研成散剂，用米饮送服二三匕（量器名）。
另一配方：治疗吐血和鼻出血（衄血）。取白胶香、蛤粉，按等比例研成细末，用姜汁调服。
另一配方：治疗突然发生的吐血。将锻石在刀头上烧红后研磨成粉，每次二钱，用井水调服。
另一配方：治疗吐血伴有胸膈部刺痛。取大黄一两研成散剂，每次一钱，用地黄汁一合，加水煎服。
另一配方：治疗心火亢盛导致吐血不止。取生葛根捣取汁液半升，炖热后服用。
另一配方：治疗内伤引起的吐血。将飞罗面（精细面粉）略加炒制，用京墨汁或藕节汁调服二钱。

另一配方：治疗吐血。将败荷叶（枯萎荷叶）研成细末，与蒲黄等分混合，每次三钱，用麦冬汤送服。
另一配方：治疗吐血、鼻出血，证属阳盛于阴、血热妄行。适宜服用四生丸。由生荷叶、生艾叶、生柏叶、生地黄等分组成，捣烂后制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，每次取一丸用水煎服。
另一配方：治疗吐血状如鹅鸭肝者。取生犀角、生桔梗各一两，研成细末，用水送服二钱。
另一配方：治疗各种失血病症。取柴胡叶浓煎成水服用，或者加入其他药物中同服尤为奇妙。
**Di Huang Zhou (Rehmannia Porridge):** Possesses the potent efficacy of promoting blood circulation and generating essence. It is highly beneficial for patients with hematemesis to consume regularly. Take raw *Dihuang* (Sheng Dihuang, *Radix Rehmanniae Preparata*) from Huaiqing, cut two he (a traditional unit of volume) using a copper knife, and cook it together with two he of *Jingmi* (Storax Rice, *Oryza sativa var. japonica*) in a pot. Once cooked, add two he of butter (Su, 酥) and one he of white honey (Bai Mi, 白蜜), stir-fry until fragrant, mix into the porridge, and boil again until thoroughly cooked before eating.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis caused by internal heat. Use Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis, *Indigofera tinctoria*), two qian, mixed with fresh well water for oral administration.
**Another Prescription:** Treats lung damage due to hematemesis. Use refined Zhongru Fen (Gypsum Pulveratum, *Gypsum Fibrosum*), three qian per dose, taken with glutinous rice decoction to stop bleeding immediately.
**Another Prescription:** Treats persistent hematemesis. Take one handful of Qingbai Ye (Cacumen Platycladi, *Platycladus orientalis*), two slices of Ganjiang (Dried Ginger, *Zingiberis Rhizoma*), one piece of Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, *Colla Corii Asini*) that has been roasted. Add two sheng of water, boil down to one sheng. Separately prepare one cup of Ou Zhi (Lotus Root Juice, *Rhizoma Nelumbinis*) or Tong Bian (Child's Urine, *Urea Pueri*). Strain and take the mixture.
**Another Prescription:** Treats vomiting of blood due to anger. Symptoms include irritability, fullness, shortness of breath, and pain in the chest and hypochondrium. Make Qingbai Ye into a powder, administer two to three bi (a small spoon measure) with rice drink.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis and epistaxis (Nu Xue, 衄血). Mix Bai Jiao Xiang (Liquidambar Resin, *Resina Liquidambaris*) and Ge Fen (Trogoderm Powder, *Concha Tridacnitis*) in equal parts, grind into powder, and take with ginger juice.
**Another Prescription:** Treats sudden onset of hematemesis. Heat Duanshi (Burnt Iron Ore, *Ferrum Oxydatum Rubrum*) on the head of a knife until red, grind into powder. Take two qian per dose, mixed with well water.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis accompanied by stabbing pain in the chest and diaphragm. Take one liang of Dahuang (Rhubarb, *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*), grind into powder. Take one qian per dose, decocted with one he of Dihuang Zhi (Rehmannia Juice, *Succus Radicis Rehmanniae*) and water.
**Another Prescription:** Treats persistent hematemesis due to heart heat. Crush Sheng Ge (Pueraria Root, *Puerariae Lobatae Radix*) to extract half sheng of juice, stew and take.
**Another Prescription:** Treats internal injury causing hematemesis. Slightly stir-fly Feiluo Mian (Fine Wheat Flour, *Farina Tritici*), mix with Jing Mo Zhi (Beijing Ink Juice, *Tinta Pekinensis*) or Ou Jie Zhi (Lotus Node Juice, *Succus Nodi Nelumbinis*), take two qian.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis when other medicines are ineffective. Burn Tao Nu (Dried Peach on Tree, *Fructus Persicae Aridus*) to ash, grind into powder, take with rice drink.
**Another Prescription:** Treats sudden severe hematemesis. Use Shuang He San (Double Lotus Powder), seven Ou Jie (Lotus Nodes, *Nodus Nelumbinis*), seven He Di (Lotus Petiole Base, *Petiolus Nelumbinis*), add a little honey, crush into paste, decoct with water for warm intake, or form into pills.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis and hemoptysis. Bake Gan He Ye (Dried Lotus Leaf, *Folium Nelumbinis*) until dry, grind into powder. Take two qian per dose with rice soup.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis. Grind Bai He Ye (Withered Lotus Leaf, *Folium Nelumbinis*) into powder, mix equally with Puhuang (Lychnidis Pollen, *Pollinis Lychnidis*), take three qian per dose with Maidong Tang (Ophiopogon Decoction, *Decoctum Radis Ophiopogonis*).
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis and epistaxis due to excess yang over yin and reckless movement of hot blood. Suitable to take Si Sheng Wan (Four Raw Substances Pill). Composed of Sheng He Ye (Raw Lotus Leaf, *Folium Nelumbinis*), Sheng Ai Ye (Raw Mugwort Leaf, *Folium Artemisiae Argyi*), Sheng Bai Ye (Raw Cacumen Platycladi, *Cacumen Platycladi*), and Sheng Dihuang (Raw Rehmannia Root, *Radix Rehmanniae Recens*) in equal parts. Crush, form into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Decoct one pill in water and take.
**Another Prescription:** Treats hematemesis resembling goose or duck liver. Take Sheng Xi Jiao (Raw Rhinoceros Horn, *Cornu Rhinocerotis*, note: substitute with legal alternatives in modern practice) and Sheng Jie Geng (Raw Platycodon Root, *Radix Platycodonis*), each one liang, grind into powder, take two qian with water.
**Another Prescription:** Treats various types of hemorrhage. Boil Chai Ye (Bupleurum Leaf, *Folium Bupleuri*) strongly in water and take, or add to other medicinal preparations for superior effect.
