Early rising and activity indicate contraction of wind pathogen; use Qufeng Dingtong Decoction (Dispersing 4). Ingredients: Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Fuling (Poria), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Dazao (Jujubae Fructus).
This condition arises from mental restlessness and depression, combined with weak stomach qi, leading to stagnation of qi and blood. Treatment should focus on tonifying the heart and nourishing the stomach. Use Chuanxiong, Danggui, Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Diyu (Sanguisorbae Radix) with five sheng of rice-washing water, decocted to two sheng, for fumigation and washing over three nights. Subsequently, wash the area with a decoction of Jingjie, Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), and Baiye (Platycladi Cacumen). Afterward, apply powders made from Wubeizi (Gallae Chinensis), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), Huangdan (Minium), and Shuifen (Cerussa) as dusting powder. If the ulcer exudate dries up, mix the powder with sesame oil and apply topically.
The etiology is often due to emotional stagnation transforming into fire, or damp-heat pouring downward, manifesting as swelling, pain, or itching. Initially, fumigate and wash with a strong decoction of Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) while hot; or use Wubeizi, Baifan (Alumen), and Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) decocted for fumigation and washing; or crush Ganjuhua Ye (Chrysanthemi Indici Folium) in any quantity, pour boiling water over it to extract the juice for fumigation and washing, then dry gently. Apply a fine powder prepared by stir-frying Haiwugu (Sepiae Endoconcha) until yellow, sieving Shuifen, quenching Luganshi (Calamina) in children's urine, adding a small amount of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum), grinding finely, and applying as dusting powder.
For swelling, pain, and ulceration, use Siwu Tang (Tonifying 7). Add Zhizi (Gardeniae Fructus), Danpi (Moutan Cortex), Danshen (note: text says Danshen but context implies Longdan Cao/Dancao - Dragon Gallbladder Herb, likely Gentianae Radix), and Jingjie. Alternatively, use Jiawei Xiaoyao San (Tonifying 21).
This results from damage to the uterine collaterals during childbirth. Treatment should involve raising and tonifying primordial qi, and securing true yin.
Excessive exertion during childbirth leads to qi sinking and prolapse. Use Jiashen Shenghua Tang (Dispersing 58) or Guipi Tang (Tonifying 3). Externally, apply powders of Liuhuang (Sulfur), Haipiaoxiao (Sepiae Endoconcha), and Bei Wuwei Zi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus).
For yin deficiency with sliding prolapse, use Jiawei Guyin Jian (Astringent 2).
For qi deficiency with sinking, use Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonifying 6) or Shiquan Dabu Tang (Tonifying 39).
Blood deficiency combined with qi sinking fails to maintain retention, causing vaginal tissue protrusion, resembling lingzhi mushrooms or fungi, or protruding several inches, termed Yinting (uterine prolapse).
For blood deficiency causing Yinting, use Siwu Tang (Tonifying 7). Mix in a small amount of Longgu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi) powder, take orally on an empty stomach for two doses consecutively. Externally, use Shelangzi (Cnidii Fructus) five liang and Wumei (Mume Fructus) fourteen pieces, decocted for fumigation and washing.
For depression-heat with downward bearing sensation, use Jiawei Xiaoyao San (Tonifying 21) or Longdan Xiegan Tang (Cold 11).
