郁金 雄精（各四钱） 乳香 朱砂（各三钱） 没药 木香 沉香（各二钱） 巴豆（去净油一钱）
小儿沉郁冷积，此方主之。
积者，能食不消，郁则兼病而言，再沉且冷，则脏腑何从黜陟。是故积不行则肠结而腹胀，郁不舒则火灼肌
瘦，为
疳为痨，相因而起。上方朱砂、雄黄靖火毒也，乳香、没药苏气血也，郁金、巴豆解其坚凝，木香、沉、曲引其
吐纳，金箔之用，乃所以镇邪耳。治中宣化，名不虚传。
诗曰∶治中宣化推郁金，巴豆雄黄木与沉，乳没朱砂功不减，再襄金曲病无侵。
（大枣百枚去核，生姜八两切片，同 烂，拣去姜，为丸）
故纸（四两） 五味子（三两） 肉豆蔻（二两，面粉裹，煨） 吴茱萸（一两，开水泡去烈性）
脾肾虚损，泄不已，因而近视，此方神良。
脾主水谷，既虚不能健运；肾司开阖，已损应难秘固。故子前午后，腹无痛而泄，泄伤则阳火下陷，而目能
近怯远。豆蔻辛温而涩，温能益脾、涩能止泻；故纸辛温而苦，辛能散邪，苦则坚肾。脾肾之阳不灭，远近一皆
明照。五味本酸收，得姜性直资肾火；吴萸徒辛散，有枣和特益命门。肾命之气交通，水谷自然克化。
诗曰∶吴萸破故纸，豆蔻五味子，姜 枣肉丸，四神灵在是。

郁金、雄精（各四钱）；乳香、朱砂（各三钱）；没药、木香、沉香（各二钱）；巴豆（去尽油脂，一钱）。
小儿患有沉滞郁结之冷积证，此方主治。
所谓“积”，指饮食能进但无法消化；所谓“郁”，是兼有气机阻滞而言；若再兼见沉滞且寒冷，则脏腑的气化升降功能如何能够正常运作？因此，积滞不行则导致肠道闭塞而腹部胀满，气郁不舒则虚火灼烧肌肉消瘦，演变为疳积或痨病，这些病症相继发生。上方中朱砂、雄黄用于平息火毒，乳香、没药用于苏醒气血，郁金、巴豆解除坚凝之积滞，木香、沉香、六神曲引导气机的吐纳，使用金箔的作用，在于镇摄邪气罢了。“治中宣化”之名，确实名不虚传。

故纸（即补骨脂，四两）；五味子（三两）；肉豆蔻（二两，用面粉包裹，煨制）；吴茱萸（一两，开水浸泡以去除烈性）。
脾肾亏虚，泄泻不止，进而导致近视，此方疗效神奇良好。
脾主运化水谷，既然虚弱就不能健旺运化；肾司开阖，已经受损就难以固摄秘藏。所以在子时前及午后，腹部虽无痛感却发生泄泻，泄泻损伤导致阳气之火下陷，从而出现眼睛只能看清近处、畏惧看远处的症状。肉豆蔻辛温而涩，其温性能补益脾胃，其涩性能止泻；故纸（补骨脂）辛温而苦，其辛性能散邪，其苦味能坚固肾脏。脾肾的阳气不致熄灭，远近景物皆能明照。五味子本具酸收之性，得到生姜的直率之性直接资助肾火；吴茱萸徒具辛散之功，但有红枣调和特别有益命门之火。肾与命门之气交通顺畅，水谷自然得以克化消化。
诗曰：吴萸破故纸，豆蔻五味子，姜枣肉丸，四神灵在是。
(Cinnamon Twig Decoction Base [Liu Shen Qu]: Take pure powder, steam until cooked, mix with honey to form pills, size of mung beans, coated with gold foil.)
Curcuma Aromatica Rhizome (Yu Jin), Realgar Xiong Jing (each 4 qian); Frankincense Ru Xiang, Cinnabar Zhu Sha (each 3 qian); Myrrh Mo Yao, Costus Root Mu Xiang, Agarwood Chen Xiang (each 2 qian); Croton Seed Ba Dou (de-oiled completely, 1 qian).
For children suffering from deep-seated, stagnant, cold accumulation syndromes, this formula is indicated.
"Accumulation" (Ji) refers to the condition where food is ingested but not digested; "Stagnation" (Yu) implies a concurrent disorder of Qi mechanism obstruction; if further complicated by deep stagnation and cold, how can the ascension and descent functions of the Zang-Fu organs operate normally? Therefore, when accumulation fails to move, it leads to intestinal blockage and abdominal distension; when Qi stagnation fails to diffuse, deficient fire scorches the muscles causing emaciation, evolving into infantile malnutrition (Gan syndrome) or consumptive disease (Lao disease), with these pathologies arising sequentially. In the above formula, Cinnabar Zhu Sha and Realgar Xiong Huang pacify fire toxicity; Frankincense Ru Xiang and Myrrh Mo Ying revive Qi and Blood; Curcuma Aromatica Rhizome Yu Jin and Croton Seed Ba Dou resolve hard congealed accumulations; Costus Root Mu Xiang, Agarwood Chen Xiang, and Cinnamon Twig Decoction Base Liu Shen Qu guide the exhalation and inhalation of Qi; the use of Gold Foil Jin Bo serves to suppress evil pathogens. The name "Zhi Zhong Xuan Hua" is indeed well-deserved.
Poem: For resolving stagnation and promoting transformation, Curcuma is praised,
With Croton, Realgar, Costus, and Agarwood combined in the case.
Frankincense, Myrrh, and Cinnabar retain their merit untarnished,
Assisted by the decoction base, diseases find no place to launch.
(Jujube Da Zao 100 pieces, pitted; Fresh Ginger Sheng Jiang 8 liang, sliced, boiled together until soft, remove ginger, form pills.)
Psoralea Fruit Gu Zhi (Bu Gu Zhi, 4 liang); Schisandra Fruit Wu Wei Zi (3 liang); Nutmeg Rou Dou Kou (2 liang, wrapped in flour, baked/warmed); Evodia Fruit Wu Zhu Yu (1 liang, soaked in boiling water to remove harsh properties).
For deficiency and damage of the Spleen and Kidney, unceasing diarrhea, leading to myopia, this formula is spiritually effective and excellent.
The Spleen governs the transportation and transformation of water and grain; since it is deficient, it cannot perform vigorous transport. The Kidney controls opening and closing; having been damaged, it struggles to secure and consolidate. Thus, before Zi hour and after Wu hour, although there is no abdominal pain, diarrhea occurs. Diarrhea damages Yang fire, causing it to sink downward, resulting in the eyes' inability to see far clearly (myopia). Nutmeg Rou Dou Kou is acrid, warm, and astringent; its warmth benefits the Spleen, and its astringency stops diarrhea. Psoralea Fruit Gu Zhi is acrid, warm, and bitter; its acridity disperses pathogens, and its bitterness strengthens the Kidney. As long as the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Kidney does not extinguish, vision for both near and far remains clear. Schisandra Fruit Wu Wei Zi naturally possesses sour astringent properties; aided by the direct nature of Ginger Sheng Jiang, it directly nourishes Kidney Fire. Evodia Fruit Wu Zhu Yu merely has acrid dispersing action, but when harmonized with Jujube Da Zao, it particularly benefits the Mingmen (Gate of Life) fire. When Qi between the Kidney and Mingmen communicates smoothly, water and grain are naturally transformed and digested.
