牛胆南星（二两） 丹砂 牛黄 全蝎（各一两） 黄连 犀角（各六钱） 防风 薄荷（各四钱） 青黛 珍珠 琥
珀（各三钱） 麝香 冰片（各二钱）
诸风热壅，痰涎上溢，发源多禀湿土。盖湿生痰，痰生风，风生热也。若徒散风而不清热，徒清热而不豁痰，
则眼斜头痛，何由而去。是方以牛胆南星为君，佐以丹砂、牛黄、矾、蝎可镇其风痰；黄连、犀角为臣，佐以珠、
珀、青黛可祛其痰热；防风、薄荷，风药卒使，佐以冰、麝、生姜，无地不到，可祛其风湿。治前症外，凡眉眶
额板痛不可忍，及指臂不仁，此风机先兆，急进以收其威。
诗曰∶犀牛黄角胆南星，可并珠冰麝珀灵，新得唇朱眉黛子，蝎风连薄不须惊。
独活 桑寄生 当归 地黄 杜仲 续断 牛膝 黄 人参 白术 鹿茸 虎骨羊膏（炙酥各等分） 秦艽
防风 细辛 芎 茯苓 甘草 肉桂均减半。
肝肾虚极，风寒湿三气内攻，腰膝痛楚，手足冷痹，此方主之。
肝筋肾骨，屈伸之专任也。今而虚极，故三气凑之，腰膝手足，痛痹不便。上方独活、细辛、秦艽、防风，
疏风药也，偕寄生、续断兼养气而能祛湿。杜仲、牛膝、虎骨、鹿茸，强健药也，入十全大补兼益精而能御寒。
凡气凝滞，肢体不仁，及口眼相邀，并宜准此。
诗曰∶秦仲独活桑寄生，细餐桂术草芎苓，无防虎鹿人牛扰，当续 仙缩地能。

各种风热壅滞，痰涎上溢，其发病根源多与禀赋湿土有关。因为湿气生痰，痰生风，风生热。如果只疏散风邪而不清热，或只清热而不豁痰，那么眼斜、头痛等症状如何能去除？此方以牛胆南星为君药，佐以丹砂、牛黄、白矾、全蝎可以镇伏风痰；黄连、犀角为臣药，佐以珍珠、琥珀、青黛可以祛除痰热；防风、薄荷作为风药的卒使（引导药），佐以冰片、麝香、生姜，无处不到，可以祛除风湿。除了治疗上述症状外，凡是眉眶额部板痛难以忍受，以及手指手臂麻木不仁，这是中风的前兆，应紧急进服此药以遏制病势。

肝肾极度虚弱，风寒湿三气内攻，导致腰膝疼痛楚痛，手足寒冷麻痹，此方主治。
肝主筋，肾主骨，它们是屈伸运动的专门承担者。如今肝肾虚极，所以风寒湿三气凑合侵袭，导致腰膝手足疼痛麻痹不便。上方中独活、细辛、秦艽、防风是疏风药物，配合桑寄生、续断既能补气又能祛湿。杜仲、牛膝、虎骨、鹿茸是强健药物，加入十全大补汤（意指具有类似功效的补益作用）兼益精血并能御寒。凡是气机凝滞，肢体麻木不仁，以及口眼歪斜，都适宜参照此法治疗。

Nan Xing (Arisaema cum Bile) (2 liang), Cinnabar Dantian, Calculus Bovis Niuhuang, Scorpio Quanxie (each 1 liang), Rhizoma Coptidis Huanglian, Cornu Rinocerotis Xijiao (each 6 qian), Radix Saposhnikoviae Fangfeng, Folium Menthae Bohe (each 4 qian), Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus Qingdai, Perla Zhenzhu, Succum Amber Huipo (each 3 qian), Moschus Shexiang, Borneolum Syntheticum Bingpian (each 2 qian).
Various wind-heat stagnation and overflowing phlegm-saliva originate largely from constitutional damp-earth. Dampness generates phlegm, phlegm generates wind, and wind generates heat. If one merely disperses wind without clearing heat, or clears heat without resolving phlegm, how can eye deviation and headache be eliminated? This formula uses Nan Xing as the sovereign drug, assisted by Dantian, Niuhuang, Bai Fan, and Quanxie to suppress wind-phlegm; Huanglian and Xijiao as the minister drugs, assisted by Zhenzhu, Huipo, and Qingdai to dispel phlegm-heat; Fangfeng and Bohe as the envoy drugs for wind, assisted by Bingpian, Shexiang, and fresh ginger, reaching everywhere to dispel wind-dampness. In addition to treating the aforementioned symptoms, whenever there is unbearable rigid pain in the eyebrows, orbits, and forehead, or numbness in the fingers and arms—these are precursors to stroke—administer this prescription urgently to curb its momentum.

Rhino horn, yellow calculus, bile-treated Arisaemia,
Together with pearl, borneol, musk, and amber, they are spiritual.
Newly obtained red lips and dark eyebrow powder,
Scorpion, wind-dispersing herbs, Coptis, and mint need not cause alarm.
Radix Angelicae Pubescentis Duhuo, Herba Taxilli Sangjisheng, Radix Angelicae Sinensis Danggui, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata Dihuang, Cortex Eucommiae Duzhong, Radix Dipsaci Xuanduan, Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae Niuxi, Radix Astragali Huangqi, Radix Ginseng Renshen, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae Baizhu, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum Lurong, Os Tigris Hugutigerinum, Medulla Ovis seu Caprae Yanggao (roasted until crisp, equal parts); Radix Gentianae Qinjiao, Radix Saposhnikoviae Fangfeng, Radix Asari Xixin, Radix Chuanxiong Chuanxiong, Poria Fu Ling, Radix Glycyrrhizae Gancao, Cortex Cinnamomi Rougui (all halved in dosage).
Extreme deficiency of Liver and Kidney allows internal attack by Wind, Cold, and Dampness, resulting in soreness and pain in the waist and knees, and cold bi-syndrome in the hands and feet. This formula is indicated for such conditions.
The Liver governs sinews, and the Kidneys govern bones; they are solely responsible for flexion and extension. Now that they are extremely deficient, the three pathogens gather and invade, causing painful bi-syndrome and inconvenience in the waist, knees, hands, and feet. In the above formula, Duhuo, Xixin, Qinjiao, and Fangfeng are wind-dispersing herbs, accompanied by Sangjisheng and Xuanduan which both nourish Qi and dispel dampness. Duzhong, Niuxi, Hugutigerinum, and Lurong are strengthening herbs; entering into a pattern similar to Shiquan Dabu Decoction, they benefit essence and blood while warding off cold. For any condition involving stagnant Qi, numbness of limbs, or deviation of mouth and eyes, this method should be applied accordingly.
