此症是气血壮盛，热毒深蕴，两便不利，火毒无
处消散，壅胜于上，攻冲日久，目丝牵急，将瞳人正
面番于内，内面转于外，凶危异症也。急宜发散风热，
通利三焦，开导两便，庶坚硬消，而目珠正，瞳人如
旧矣。或有日久出脓而愈者，亦有爆出目珠，流血伤
目者，须早治之。宜白玉锭泡水洗，至宝丹泡水洗。
此症是肝火太盛，蒸伤胆汁，胆汁游走，火入肾
经，无处消散，所以黑睛瞳人突出，坚硬难消。又或
有白薄皮尖突，如枣核尖舒出眼外，内包恶水者。趁
火毒未消，发散清火，和血解毒，缓缓调治之可也。
若气血定而经络冷，则为不治之症矣。白玉锭多加水
泡洗，当用真人吹冲揭障之方，则热散平复矣。
此症云翳高浓，堆瞳人上，笼罩不开。先服杞
实粥调养胃气，胃气壮，自然生气生血，气血之精粹
上升于目，鼓动邪热，使锢蔽云翳活动；再服四物汤
加减，令气血流动充足，仍用羌活胜风汤发散，即点
扫雾丹，云翳渐退。至于老翳浓膜难退，再用猪肝脯，
真人吹冲法，即全愈矣。如发红即以寒凉降之，不惟
云翳不退，热毒逼住在经络中不得出，将来毒入神
膏，为终身疾矣。点扫雾丹，吹冲时点赛宝丹、引神
丹（方见二卷）。
此症因心火克肺金，肺金克肝木，肝火盛，血少
无以滋筋，筋拘挛不伸、是以有此症。当先服羌活胜
风汤，点扫雾丹，再用泻青丸，清肝火、养肝血，则
手足不拘挛，而目病痊愈矣。点白玉锭、元灵丹、扫
雾丹，至宝丹，或点或多加药泡水洗。
这种病症是由于气血壮盛，热毒深重蕴结，大小便不通利，火毒无处消散，壅滞于上部，长期攻冲眼部，导致眼络牵拉紧急，黑珠（眼球）正面转向内侧，内面转至外侧，这是一种凶险异常的病症。应当急用发散风热、通利三焦、开通大小便的方法治疗，这样坚硬的眼球才能消退，眼球恢复端正，瞳孔恢复正常。有的患者日久后排出脓液而痊愈，也有眼球爆裂、流血伤目的情况，必须尽早治疗。适宜用白玉锭泡水清洗眼睛，或用至宝丹泡水清洗眼睛。
这种病症是由于肝火过盛，蒸灼损伤胆汁，胆汁游走窜动，火热之邪侵入肾经，无处消散，所以黑睛和瞳孔突出，坚硬难以消退。或者又有白色薄皮尖端突起，像枣核尖一样伸出眼外，内部包裹着恶浊水液的状况。趁着火毒尚未消除时，采用发散清火、调和血液、解毒的方法，缓缓调治即可。如果气血安定但经络寒冷，则成为不治之症。此时应多加水浸泡白玉锭清洗眼睛，并应当使用真人吹冲揭障的方剂，使热散病平而康复。
这种病症表现为云翳（角膜瘢痕或混浊）高耸浓密，堆积在瞳孔上方，笼罩不开。先服用杞实粥调养胃气，胃气强壮后，自然能化生气血，气血的精微物质上升滋养眼睛，鼓动并驱散邪热，使固闭的云翳变得松动活动；再服用四物汤加减，令气血流动充足，仍然使用羌活胜风汤进行发散治疗，同时点眼扫雾丹，云翳逐渐消退。至于陈旧性云翳和浓膜难以消退的情况，再用猪肝脯配合真人吹冲法，即可完全痊愈。如果出现发红症状，立即用寒凉药物降火，否则不仅云翳不退，热毒还会逼迫停留在经络中无法排出，将来毒邪深入神膏（晶状体或玻璃体等深层组织），会成为终身疾病。点眼扫雾丹，吹冲时点眼赛宝丹、引神丹（方剂见第二卷）。
这种病症是因为心火克制肺金，肺金又克制肝木，导致肝火旺盛，血液不足无法滋润筋脉，筋脉拘挛不能伸展，因此出现此症。应当先服用羌活胜风汤，点眼扫雾丹，再服用泻青丸，以清肝火、养肝血，这样手足就不会拘挛，眼病也能痊愈。点眼白玉锭、元灵丹、扫雾丹、至宝丹，或者点眼，或者多加药材泡水清洗眼睛。
This syndrome is caused by robust Qi and Blood, with deep accumulation of heat-toxin. The urination and defecation are obstructed, leaving the fire-toxin nowhere to dissipate. It stagnates and surges upward, attacking the eyes over a long period, causing the eye collaterals to be pulled tight. Consequently, the cornea (black pupil) turns inward from the front, and the inner surface turns outward. This is a perilous and abnormal condition. Urgent treatment should focus on dispersing wind-heat, unblocking the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), and promoting the flow of urine and stool. Only then can the hardness subside, the eyeball return to its normal position, and the pupil restore itself. Some patients may recover after pus discharges after a long duration, while others may suffer from eyeball rupture and bleeding, which damages the eye. Early treatment is essential. It is advisable to wash the eyes with water infused with Baiyu Ding (White Jade Tablet) or Zhibao Dan (Precious Treasure Pill).
This syndrome arises from excessive Liver Fire, which steams and injures the bile. As the bile circulates abnormally, the fire enters the Kidney Meridian and has no place to dissipate. Thus, the cornea and pupil protrude and become hard to resolve. Alternatively, there may be a thin white membrane with a sharp tip protruding outward like the point of a jujube pit, enclosing foul fluid internally. While the fire-toxin has not yet dissipated, treatment should involve dispersing and clearing the fire, harmonizing the blood, and detoxifying, administered gradually for recovery. If the Qi and Blood stabilize but the meridians become cold, it becomes an incurable disease. In such cases, more water should be used to soak Baiyu Ding for washing the eyes, and the formula "Zhenren Chui Chong Jie Zhang" (Real Person Blowing and Pushing to Remove Obstruction) should be employed to dissipate the heat and restore health.
In this condition, the nebula (corneal opacity) is high and dense, piling up above the pupil and shrouding it without opening. First, administer Qishi Zhou (Goji and Shihujia Porridge) to nourish Stomach Qi. Once the Stomach Qi is strong, it naturally generates Qi and Blood. The essence of Qi and Blood rises to nourish the eyes, stirring up and expelling pathogenic heat, thereby loosening the fixed nebula. Subsequently, take Siwu Tang (Four Substance Decoction) with modifications to ensure sufficient and flowing Qi and Blood. Continue using Qianghuo Shengfeng Tang (Notopterygium Decoction to Overcome Wind) for dispersion, and apply Saowu Dan (Mist-Sweeping Pill) as eye drops. For old, dense membranes that are difficult to resolve, use Pig Liver Preserved Meat combined with the "Zhenren Chui Chong" method for complete recovery. If redness appears, immediately use cold-natured herbs to descend the fire; otherwise, the nebula will not recede, and the heat-toxin will be forced to remain in the meridians, unable to exit. Eventually, the toxin will enter the Shengao (divine paste, referring to deep ocular tissues), causing a lifelong disease. Apply Saowu Dan as eye drops; during the blowing/pushing procedure, apply Saibao Dan (Treasure-Competing Pill) and Yinshen Dan (Spirit-Guiding Pill) (formulas found in Volume 2).
This syndrome occurs because Heart Fire suppresses Lung Metal, and Lung Metal suppresses Liver Wood. This leads to vigorous Liver Fire and insufficient Blood to nourish the sinews, resulting in sinus contraction and inability to extend, hence presenting these symptoms. Initially, administer Qianghuo Shengfeng Tang and apply Saowu Dan as eye drops. Then, take Xieqing Wan (Draining Green Pill) to clear Liver Fire and nourish Liver Blood. This will prevent limb contraction and cure the eye disease. Apply Baiyu Ding, Yuanling Dan, Saowu Dan, and Zhibao Dan as eye drops, or use them in large quantities for soaking water to wash the eyes.
