钟大仙选录：男子与女子的病症不同，主要有疝病、强阳不倒（阴茎异常勃起）、痿而不举（阳痿）。然而与妇人不同的，只有狐疝这一种情况不同。
强阳不倒，是因为虚火上炎，肺金之气不能下行所致。如果服用黄柏、知母煎成的汤剂，立刻就能消散。至于痿而不振者，是由于过度纵欲，每日消耗肾水，肾火也随之消泄。方子用：熟地黄一两，山茱萸四钱，杜仲……则火……韩大仙说：我也选择这个方子，可以一并传给狐疝方：白术五钱，沙参一两，柴胡三钱，白芍三钱。
王阳倒不举方：熟地黄一斤，肉桂三两，覆盆子三两，黄精二斤，巴戟天六两，柏子仁（去油）三钱……矣。
华真人选录，治疗疝气的方子：用沙参一两，橘核一两，肉桂一钱，柴胡一钱，白芍五钱，陈皮五分……自然随手奏效。

Zhong Daxian selected: The diseases of men differ from those of women, primarily in hernia (Hernia), persistent erection (Persistent Erection), and impotence with inability to erect (Impotence). However, differing from women is only the case of fox hernia (Fox Hernia).
