手太阴肺经的别络名为列缺；手少阴心经的别络即为通里；手厥阴心包经的别络为内关；手太阳小肠经的别络是支正；手阳明大肠经的别络当取偏历；手少阳三焦经的别络取外关。足太阳膀胱经的别络名叫飞阳；足少阳胆经的别络从光明穴起始；足阳明胃经的别络称为丰隆；足太阴脾经的别络止于公孙；足少阴肾经的别络名为大钟；足厥阴肝经的别络为蠡沟。督脉的别络号为长强；任脉的别络为屏翳（即鸠尾）；脾的大络名为大包。十五络穴全部包含在此处，《内经·平人气象论》篇中还有胃的络穴名叫虚里。
井、荥、俞、经、合、原，是各经脉上的穴位名称。手足阳经有原穴，而手足阴经没有独立的原穴，阴经的“俞”穴即兼任“原”穴的功能。
