Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang) (2.5 qian each), Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) (2.5 qian each), Ferulae Resina (awei), Realgar (Xionghuang) (1 liang each), Moschus (Shexiang) (2.5 qian), Raw Rhubarb (Sheng Dahuang), Catechu (Ercha), Himalayan Beechwood (Tianzhuhuang), Zicao Rong (Purple Grass Root Floss) (mixed with ram blood). All herbs are ground into fine powder. The resin of Toosendan Fruit (Tenghuang) is melted to form pills the size of a water chestnut. If the quantity is small, honey is used as an excipient. The pills are sealed with wax for storage. Take one pill per dose, administered with pure wine (Wu Hui Jiu).
Zijin Jiu (紫金酒): Treats all types of wind-pathogens, traumatic injuries, cold-dampness hernia, fixed pain due to injury, blood stagnation, and qi condensation. This wine effectively unblocks meridians and resolves long-standing pathogens.

First Immortal Formula for Military Use in Treating Traumatic Injuries, Knife and Arrow Wounds:
Raw Dog Head (1 piece; scrape off meat, calcine in open air until carbonized, grind to powder), Human Nail Ash (Ren Zhijia Hui), Hair Charcoal (Xueyu Hui) (1 qian each), Aged Pine Rosin (Chen Songxiang) (5 qian).
Grind to extremely fine powder and apply to the wound; fractured bones will knit, and knife wounds will heal. These four ingredients can be taken in equal parts internally with wine.
Washing Prescription:
Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie), Licorice Root (Gancao).
Decoct in water and wash the wound in a windless place.
Formula for Arrowhead and Wooden Object Injuries:
Spread mugwort floss (Aimian) into a cake. Spread fine powder of saltpeter (Huoxiao) on top. Then spread powder made from crushed large dung beetles (Danglang) over the saltpeter. Wrap this around the wound. It will heal within one day and night.
Alternative Formula:
Use aged cured pork belly, skin removed, selecting red and fresh pieces. Slice finely including fat. Mix with fresh ivory powder and human nail powder. Mince together thoroughly and apply to the affected area.
