For topical application, use one spoonful of yeast starter, stir-fry five qian of flour, mash the yeast starter until it resembles a honeycomb structure. Once it develops a greenish hue, add powdered Ru Xiang (Frankincense) and Mo Yao (Myrrh); this yields immediate effect.
For the two conditions of Ru Yong (Breast Carbuncle) and Ju Du (Breast Abscess), if there are indurations inside that do not dissipate, urgently take Fu Yuan Tong Qi San (Revive the Origin and Promote Qi Powder). Combine with the aforementioned topical applications, Hua Du Ba Du Fu Yao (Detoxification and Toxin-Expelling Topical Medicine), and Duo Ming Tang (Life-Seizing Decoction), taking until sweating occurs as the limit.

For any patient suffering from Ru Lao (Breast Tuberculosis/Chronic Breast Condition), needle therapy is contraindicated, lest the needle injure the breast tissue seams, leading to death. One must identify the syndrome: if the opening is large, it indicates the mammary gland has been damaged by injury. Use Ding Tong San (Stabilize Pain Powder). Apply the topical medicine from the previous "Blowing Breast" prescription around the periphery.
Fan Hua Shi Liu (Reblooming Pomegranate-like Sores) and Fa Ru (Developing Breast) are two conditions that are incurable. Patients aged thirty-two or thirty-three can be treated; those over forty should be treated early with internal and external medications. If granulation tissue does not form, it is difficult to treat and will likely result in death.
Ren Mian Chuang (Human-Faced Sore)
This condition is caused by karmic retribution and can be resolved through performing good deeds. One must sincerely confess and repent before medication can be used. Take Liu Qi Yin (Flowing Qi Decoction) internally. If it persists for a long time...

(These four ingredients are named Si Sheng San [Four Living Powders]; above each is one liang, except Cao Wu which uses only three qian).
The above ingredients are pulverized into fine powder. Water-boiled wheat paste is used as a binder to make pills the size of Sophora seeds. Each dose takes 30-50 pills, administered 2-3 times daily, swallowed with Southern rice wine on an empty stomach.
Those who do not drink alcohol may substitute with good quality tea. Swallowing these pills tonifies Kidney Water.
External Sores
Conditions that persist for many years without healing are mostly due to deficiency and decline of Kidney Water flowing downward. There are also cases of Spleen ulceration and overflow; one can take Ku Shen Wan (Sophora Pill) to tonify Kidney Water, use Jie Du Sheng Ji Ding Tong San (Detoxify, Generate Flesh, Stabilize Pain Powder), and subsequently apply Ge Zhi Gao Yao (Paper-Separated Plaster).
