产后乳儿，乳为儿口气所吹，致令乳汁不通，壅结肿痛，不急治之，多成痈肿。急服栝蒌散，外以南星研末，
温水调敷，更以手揉散之。若肿痛势甚者，惟金贝煎最妙。
栝蒌散
栝蒌（一个） 乳香（去油，二钱）
酒煎服。
金贝煎
金银花 贝母（去心） 蒲公英 夏枯草（各三钱） 红藤（七八钱） 连翘（一两或五七钱）
酒二碗，煎一碗服，服后暖卧片时。
如火盛烦渴乳肿者，加天花粉二三钱。
产后无儿饮乳，或乳多儿小未能饮尽，余乳蓄结作胀。或妇人血气方盛，乳房作胀，以致肿痛憎寒壮热，
不吮通之，必致成痈。用陈皮一两，甘草一钱，水煎服。若肿结不消，欲回乳者，用麦芽二三两（炒熟），
水煎服。
乳痈属胆胃二腑热毒瓦斯血壅滞，故初起肿痛发于肌表，肉色 赤。其人表热，或憎寒壮热，头痛烦渴，宜
栝蒌必效散。若初起结块，宜泽兰汤。外用活鲫鱼一尾捣烂，和腊月饴糖糟一小团研细调敷，肿消即下。如未
消再敷。一法以远志去心取肉，米泔浸炒为末，每服三钱，酒一钟澄清饮之。渣敷患处。若脓出寒热如疟，宜
解毒散。若脓出虚弱，宜参 银花汤。
栝蒌必效散

水煎服。（一方有白芷、青皮各一钱）
泽兰汤
泽兰（一两） 青皮（三钱） 白芨（五钱） 枸橘叶（三十片）
水煎，入酒半钟服。
解毒汤
人参 白术（蜜炙） 生地黄（各二钱） 黄 银花 茯苓（各一钱） 连翘（去心，四分） 青皮（三分）
白芷（五分） 乌梅（一枚） 大枣（一枚）
水煎服。
参 银花汤
人参 黄 白术（蜜炙） 熟地黄（各二钱） 银花 当归（各三钱） 茯苓 川芎（各八分）
甘草（五分）
水煎服。
产后哺乳期间，婴儿的口气吹入乳房，导致乳汁运行不畅，郁结阻塞并引起肿痛。如果不及时救治，很容易发展成痈肿。应立即服用栝蒌散，外用生南星研成粉末，用温水调匀后敷在患处，同时用手揉按使其消散。如果肿痛症状非常严重，使用金贝煎效果最好。
金贝煎
金银花 贝母（去心） 蒲公英 夏枯草（各三钱） 红藤（七八钱） 连翘（一两或五七钱）
用两碗酒，煎至一碗时服用，服药后温暖卧床休息片刻。
如果火热旺盛、烦躁口渴且乳房肿胀者，加天花粉二三钱。
产后如果没有婴儿吸吮乳汁，或者乳汁过多而婴儿太小未能饮尽，剩余的乳汁蓄积凝结导致胀痛。或者是妇人气血正盛，乳房胀满，以致出现肿痛、憎寒壮热的症状，如果不通过吸吮来疏通，必然会导致形成痈肿。使用陈皮一两，甘草一钱，水煎服用。如果肿块结聚不消，想要回奶（停止泌乳）的，使用麦芽二三两（炒熟），水煎服用。
乳痈属于胆腑和胃腑的热毒之气与血液壅滞所致，所以初起时肿痛发于肌表，皮肤颜色发红。患者表现为体表发热，或者憎寒壮热、头痛、烦躁口渴，适宜服用栝蒌必效散。如果初起时有结块，适宜服用泽兰汤。外用活鲫鱼一条捣烂，混合腊月时的饴糖糟一小团，研磨细后调匀敷贴，肿胀消退即停用。如果未消退可再次敷贴。另一种方法是用远志去心取肉，用米泔水浸泡后炒制研成粉末，每次服用三钱，用一杯澄清的酒送服。药渣敷在患处。如果脓液排出后出现像疟疾一样的寒热交替症状，适宜服用解毒散。如果脓液排出后身体虚弱，适宜服用参银花汤。
栝蒌必效散

水煎服用。（另一配方中有白芷、青皮各一钱）
泽兰汤

During the postpartum breastfeeding period, if an infant's breath blows into the breast, it causes milk stasis, leading to accumulation, obstruction, swelling, and pain. If not treated promptly, it often develops into a carbuncle (breast abscess). One should immediately take Gualou San (Trichosanthes Powder), apply dried Aconitum carmichaelii powder externally mixed with warm water, and massage the area by hand to disperse the swelling. If the swelling and pain are severe, Jinbei Jian (Gold Shell Decoction) is most effective.

Decoct two bowls of wine until one bowl remains; drink while warm, then rest in bed under covers for a short time.
If there is excessive heat causing irritability, thirst, and breast swelling, add Trichosanthes root Radix Trichosanthis (Tianhuafen) two to three qian.
In cases where there is no infant to suckle, or when milk production exceeds the infant's capacity, residual milk accumulates and causes distension and pain. Alternatively, if a woman has abundant Qi and Blood, her breasts may become distended, leading to swelling, pain, aversion to cold, and high fever. If this is not relieved by suckling, it will inevitably lead to a carbuncle. Use one liang of Citrus reticulata peel Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi) and one qian of Licorice root Radix Glycyrrhizae uralensis (Gancao), decoct in water, and take orally. If the swelling and induration do not resolve and one wishes to suppress lactation (return milk), use two to three liang of malt Hordeum vulgare seed Frumentum Hordei Germinatum (Maiya, stir-fried), decoct in water, and take orally.
Breast carbuncle (Ru Yong) is caused by heat-toxin and blood stasis stagnating in the Gallbladder and Stomach fu-organs. Therefore, initially, swelling and pain appear on the body surface with reddish skin color. The patient presents with exterior heat, or aversion to cold with high fever, headache, irritability, and thirst. It is suitable to take Gualou Bixiao San (Trichanthes Highly Effective Powder). If there is initial induration, Zelan Tang (Zelan Decoction) is suitable. Externally, mash one live crucian carp Carassius auratus, mix with a small ball of maltose syrup from the twelfth lunar month and fermented rice bran, grind finely, mix with water, and apply. Remove once swelling subsides. If not subsided, reapply. Another method uses Polygala root Radix Polygalae (Yuanzhi), remove heart, take the flesh, soak in rice wash water, stir-fry, and grind into powder. Take three qian each time, washed down with one cup of clarified wine. Apply the dregs to the affected area. If pus is discharged followed by chills and fever resembling malaria, Jiedu San (Detoxification Powder) is suitable. If the body is weak after pus discharge, Shen Yinhua Tang (Ginseng Honeysuckle Decoction) is suitable.
