妊娠胎动不安之甚者，当先察其母之面色，面赤母生；面青母死。尤必察其母之舌色，舌赤胎生；舌青胎
死。欲知胎之生死，全以舌为证验。然必舌见青黑，口出哕气而吐沫，呕恶，腹中阴冷如冰，重坠如石者方可
议下，宜佛手散、决津煎、脱花煎，助其血而落之最为神效，切勿用平胃散加朴硝等剂腐人肠胃。
佛手散
当归（六钱） 川芎（四钱）
为末，热酒调服。（生胎即安，死胎即下）
决津煎
当归（三钱） 熟地黄 牛膝（各二钱） 泽泻（一钱五分） 乌药 肉桂（各一钱）
水二钟，煎七分，食前服。如未效加红花（酒炒黄）一钱。
脱花煎
当归（七钱） 肉桂 红花（酒炒黄，各一钱） 车前子（一钱五分） 川芎 牛膝（各二钱）
水煎，热服，服后再饮酒数杯亦妙。
精气有余，歧而分之，血因分而摄之，故成双胎。若夫男女同孕者，刚日阳时柔日阴时，感时阴阳混杂不属
左不属右，受气于两歧之间，而三四胎五六胎亦如之。此阴阳俱盛也。若少阴微紧者，血即凝滞，经养不周，
胎即偏伤，一死一生。治当去其死以安其生，宜千金神造汤。
千金神造汤
蟹爪（一升即一盏） 大甘草（二两，半生、半炒） 阿胶（三两，半生、半炒） 东流水（十钟）
先煎蟹爪、甘草至三钟，去渣，乘热化胶，分作三次，隔水顿服，每服一钟，生胎即安，死胎即下。
妊娠期间胎动不安严重的情况，应当先观察孕妇的面色：面色红润则胎儿存活；面色发青则母亲死亡。尤其必须观察孕妇的舌色：舌质红润则胎儿存活；舌质发青则胎儿死亡。想要知道胎儿的生死，完全以舌象作为验证依据。然而，只有当舌色呈现青黑色，口中发出呃逆之气并吐出泡沫，伴有恶心呕吐，腹部感觉阴冷如冰，且有沉重下坠感如石块般时，才可以讨论使用下胎法，适宜选用佛手散、决津煎、脱花煎，通过助血行以促使死胎排出，最为神效，切勿使用平胃散加朴硝等药剂，以免腐蚀人的肠胃。
佛手散
当归（六钱） 川芎（四钱）
研为细末，用热酒调服。（活胎即安，死胎即下）
决津煎
当归（三钱） 熟地黄 牛膝（各二钱） 泽泻（一钱五分） 乌药 肉桂（各一钱）
加水两钟，煎至七分，饭前服用。如果无效，加入红花（酒炒至黄）一钱。
脱花煎
当归（七钱） 肉桂 红花（酒炒至黄，各一钱） 车前子（一钱五分） 川芎 牛膝（各二钱）
加水煎煮，热服，服药后再喝几杯酒也很好。
精气有余，分流而分布，血液随之分流摄取，因此形成双胎。至于男女同孕的情况，若在刚日阳时或柔日阴时受孕，此时阴阳混杂，不属左也不属右，受气于两歧之间，那么三四胎、五六胎也是同样的道理。这是阴阳俱盛的表现。若脉象少阴微紧，血液就会凝滞，经血供养不周，胎儿就会偏伤，导致一死一生。治疗应当去除死胎以保全活胎，适宜选用千金神造汤。
千金神造汤
蟹爪（一升即一盏） 大甘草（二两，半生用、半炒用） 阿胶（三两，半生用、半炒用） 东流水（十钟）
先煎蟹爪、甘草至三钟，去渣，趁热融化阿胶，分作三次，隔水顿服，每次服用一钟，活胎即安，死胎即下。
In cases of severe fetal restlessness during pregnancy, one must first observe the mother's facial complexion: a ruddy complexion indicates the mother and fetus are alive; a bluish-green complexion indicates the death of the mother. It is essential to examine the color of the tongue: a red tongue indicates the fetus is alive; a blue-green tongue indicates fetal death. To determine the life or death of the fetus, the tongue diagnosis serves as the primary verification. However, only when the tongue exhibits a blue-black color, accompanied by hiccups with frothy saliva, nausea and vomiting, a sensation of coldness in the abdomen like ice, and a heavy bearing-down feeling as if weighed down by a stone, can the method for expelling the dead fetus be considered. Suitable formulas include Foshou San (Buddha's Hand Powder), Juejin Jian (Crossing the Ford Decoction), and Tuohua Jian (Expelling Flowers Decoction). These formulas assist blood circulation to facilitate the expulsion of the dead fetus and are most effective. One must strictly avoid using Pingwei San (Calm the Stomach Powder) augmented with Mangxiao (Mirabilite), etc., as such agents may corrode the gastrointestinal tract.
Foshou San (Buddha's Hand Powder)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 6 qian) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 4 qian)
Grind into powder, mix with hot wine for administration. (If the fetus is alive, it will be stabilized; if dead, it will be expelled.)
Juejin Jian (Crossing the Ford Decoction)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 3 qian) Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 2 qian each) Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, 2 qian each) Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma, 1.5 qian) Wuyao (Linderae Radix, 1 qian each) Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1 qian each)
Add two zhong of water, decoct until seven-tenths remain, take before meals. If ineffective, add Honghua (Carthami Flos, wine-fried yellow, 1 qian).
Tuohua Jian (Expelling Flowers Decoction)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 7 qian) Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1 qian each) Honghua (Carthami Flos, wine-fried yellow, 1 qian each) Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen, 1.5 qian) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 2 qian each) Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, 2 qian each)
Decoct in water, take hot. After taking the medicine, drinking a few cups of wine is also beneficial.
When vital essence is abundant, it divides and distributes, and blood follows to nourish these divisions, resulting in twins. Regarding pregnancies involving both male and female fetuses, conception occurring on yang days/yang hours or yin days/yin hours involves a mixture of yin and yang energies, neither belonging to the left nor the right side. The qi is received between the dual divisions, leading to triplets, quadruplets, or more in similar manners. This represents an abundance of both yin and yang. If the Shaoyin pulse is slightly tight, blood stagnation occurs, leading to insufficient nourishment from the menses, causing uneven injury to the fetuses, resulting in one dying and one surviving. The treatment should focus on removing the dead fetus to protect the living one. Qianjin Shenzao Tang (Thousand Gold Divine Creation Decoction) is suitable.

Xiezhuo (Crab Claws, 1 sheng, equivalent to 1 zhan) Dagancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 2 liang, half raw, half stir-fried) Ejiao (Asini Corii Colla, 3 liang, half raw, half stir-fried) Dongliushui (East-flowing Water, 10 zhong)
First decoct Xiezhuo and Gancao until three zhong remain, strain the dregs, dissolve Ejiao while hot, divide into three doses, and take each dose by steaming/heating in water. Each dose is one zhong. If the fetus is alive, it will be stabilized; if dead, it will be expelled.
