Infants with weak legs and difficulty walking suffer from insufficient Qi and Blood, incomplete marrow filling, or deficiency of both the Liver and Kidney. The Liver governs the sinews, and the Kidney governs the bones; when sinews are weak, they cannot bind the bones. It is appropriate to administer Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill), supplemented with Lurong (Deer Antler), Niuxi (Achyranthes Root), Wuweizi (Schisandra Fruit), and Wujia Pi (Acanthopanax Bark), taken over a long period. Alternatively, Huguo Wan (Tiger Bone Pill) is also effective.
