(Note: This chapter follows the previous chapter "Yin Yang Twenty-Five Persons" to elaborate on the meaning of Five Elements affiliation. However, the former section discusses "Tiao" in twelve items, while the latter section discusses "Tong" in nine items. In total, Jue is mentioned twelve times, Zheng six times, Gong eight times, Shang eight times, and Yu seven times. There are repetitions, such as Hand Yangming ascending, Foot Taiyang descending, Foot Yangming descending, and Foot Shaoyang descending. There are also omissions, such as Hand Yangming descending, Hand Yangming ascending, Hand Yangming descending, Foot Taiyang ascending, and Foot Yangming descending. Furthermore, there are instances where different tones are mixed, failing to conform to the order of interior/exterior, left/right, and Five Elements. This may be due to the profound and obscure nature of the ancient text, which has never had clear annotations. Readers do not understand, and copyists are not careful, leading to easy errors among Left, Right, Up, Down, Da, and Xiao tones. The more it is transmitted, the more erroneous it becomes, making the meanings difficult to comprehend. I dare not force an interpretation; I merely preserve the text, awaiting future scholars to correct it.)
