2) Qujie (Qujie, EX-UE 10). "Qu" implies stability and secrecy. "Jie" refers to the branching point of a tree. The name Qujie indicates that the fluid channel water from the Earth level converging at this acupoint undergoes continuous qi transformation. The material basis of this acupoint is formed by the convergence of fluid channel water from the Earth level; the convergence of water here constitutes the primary movement and change of qi and blood in this acupoint. However, because the temperature of the fluid channel water in this acupoint is relatively high, the liquid simultaneously undergoes qi transformation. The qi transformation of blood and fluids resembles the branching of tree limbs yet is imperceptible, hence the name Qujie.
3) He-Sea Point of the Heart Meridian. The substances within this acupoint include not only the fluid channel water converging from the Earth level but also the damp-cloud qi ascending and converging here from points such as Shaochong (Shaochong, HT 9). It serves as the common convergence point for both water and qi of the Heart Meridian, thus designated as the He-Sea Point of the Heart Meridian.

Zang-Fu Correlation: The interior and exterior meridians of the human body are like underground and surface rivers flowing in the same direction in the same area. The water in the underground river and the surface river comes from the same source, just as the qi and blood of the interior and exterior meridians originate from the same Zang-Fu organ. The confluence of the underground river and the surface river is like the Jing-Well points at the extremities of the human body. Therefore, surface meridian water flows inward, and gaseous substances below the surface rise upward. Taking Tongli (Tongli, HT 5) and Yinxi (Yinxi, HT 6) as examples, they act like the communication pores between the underground and surface rivers. Located in the middle section of these rivers, the water of the surface river injects into the underground river at the middle section of the channel. This corresponds to the movement of surface meridian water of the Heart Meridian.
