肠风便血（壮实者宜用）
槐角子五钱 黄连 枳壳 地榆 贯众各三钱
水煎服。昔潘大司马患此，孙文垣用此方治之，一服即止。因书其方于壁间，遇有便血
者治之，无不立愈。
大肠泻血（虚盛兼宜）
发灰五钱 鸡冠花 柏叶各一两
为末。卧时酒服二钱，来早以温酒投之，一服见效。（《普济方》）
下血
随四时方向，采侧柏叶烧灰，研末，每日米饮下二钱。（《百一选方》）
肠风下血
豆腐末入袋滤出浆者，带渣取来，锅内炒燥，研末。每三钱，如下紫血块者，白糖汤下；
红血块者，砂糖汤下。虽远年便血乖危者服之神效。每日用三次。（《秘方集验》）
肠风
熟黄芩（炒黑四两） 黑枣头半斤（煮烂去皮核）
捣烂和芩末为丸，梧子大。早晚共服四钱，终剂即愈。（怀德堂自验方）
脏毒下血

Intestinal Wind with Blood in Stool (Suitable for robust constitutions)
Huaijiao Zi (Sophorae Fructus Immaturus) 5 qian, Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Zhiqiao (Aurantii Fructus), Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix), Guanzhong (Cyathulae Rhizoma) each 3 qian.
Decoct in water and take orally. In the past, Grand Marshal Pan suffered from this condition. Sun Wen Yuan treated him with this prescription, and bleeding stopped after one dose. Therefore, he wrote this prescription on the wall; when treating others with blood in stool, all recovered immediately.
Large Intestine Bleeding (Suitable for both deficiency and excess patterns)
Fa Hui (Calci Corium / Human Hair Ash) 5 qian, Jiguan Hua (Celosiae Cristatae Flos), Bai Ye (Meli Folium) each 1 liang.
Grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian with wine before sleep, and follow up with warm wine early the next morning. One dose shows effect. (From *Puji Fang*)
Blood in Stool
Collect Ce Bai Ye (Platycladi Cacumen) according to the direction of the four seasons, burn to ash, grind into powder, and take 2 qian daily with rice water. (From *Bai Yi Xuan Fang*)

Visceral Toxin with Blood in Stool
Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, soaked in wine, steamed and dried nine times) 2 liang, Huaihua (Sophorae Flos) 3 liang, Mu'er (Auriculariae Auricula-Judae) 3 liang, Yuliren (Prunus Semen), Zaojiaozi (Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina), Xiangya Xie (Elephantis Dentis Fragmentum), Tiao Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Xue [Note: Text implies a missing herb name or specific term] ground together into powder. Make pills with refined honey, sized like adzuki beans. Coat these pills with Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) plus Puhuang (Typhae Pollen), each 1 liang. Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma).
Decoct 2 bowls of water until reduced to 0.8 bowl. Take before meals. If blood deficiency, add Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) and Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix); if blood heat, add Chao Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, stir-fried); if deficiency-cold, add Chao Heiganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Carbonisatum, stir-fried black).
