以上药物用朝东的灶台炊火，以芦苇为薪煮之，加入东流水一斗，煮至二升，过滤去渣，加入真阿胶使其溶化，一次性服下。
如果是神造者（指配方精妙如神工），制作方剂的巧妙，简直像是神仙所作。蟹爪尖专门用于排出死胎，甘草稳固安顿中气，不让尸气上冲，保护生气。

Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) 1 qian, Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) 1 qian (stir-fried), Gan Cao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma) 2 qian (honey-fried), Guang Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) 1 qian, Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) 1 qian, Bai Shao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) 1 qian (wine-fried).
Da Fu Pi (Arecae Pericarpium).
Add two zhong of water to the above ingredients, decoct until reduced to eight-tenths volume, and take at any time.

Decoct the above medicines using a stove facing east, burning reed firewood as fuel. Add one dou of flowing water from the east, boil down to two sheng, filter out the dregs, add genuine E Jiao (Donkey-Hide Glue) until dissolved, and take in one dose.
If formulated by divine inspiration, the ingenuity of this prescription is as if made by immortals. The tip of the crab claw specifically expels dead fetus; Gan Cao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma) stabilizes and anchors the Middle Qi (Middle Jiao Energy), preventing corpse qi from ascending and damaging Sheng Qi (Vital Qi).
Sheng Huang Si Juan (Raw Yellow Silk Gauze) 1 chi (cut into pieces), Bai Dan Pi Gen Mu (Moutan Cortex Root Bark), Bai Ji (Bletillae Rhizoma) each 1 qian.
Add one bowl of water to the above, boil until the silk gauze dissolves like syrup. Take on an empty stomach; do not make noise while swallowing.

Wu Yu Gu Wan (Cuttlefish Bone Pills) consist of blood-and-flesh substances. Since blood is depleted and qi is lost, only sentient substances can retain and nourish qi and blood, promoting growth. Wu Yu (Cuttlefish)... Tong Jing (Unblocking meridians)... every... also.
According to *Su Wen*, Ru (Asafoetida) is used; *Nong Jing* states it is toxic, capable of corroding foul flesh and discharging pus and blood. Ru (Asafoetida) is non-toxic and can also unblock meridians, treating Liu Ji (Six Extremities) injuries... medicine.
Huang Yu Biao (Yellow Fish Swim Bladder) 1 jin (cut into pieces, stir-fried with Ge Fen/Mussel Powder), Sha Yuan Ji Li (Astragali Complanati Semen) 8 liang (soaked in horse milk, steamed over boiling water for the duration of one incense stick).
Grind the above into fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills. Take 80 pills per dose, with warm water.
Zhen (Thunder Trigram) represents obtaining the eldest son through one union; the eldest son signifies abundant Yang. Zhen begins at Yin, corresponding to Shaoyang (Lesser Yang) in the human body, governing the initial closure of essence and qi, where intention arises, possessing bravery... face length... essence completeness... securing essence... knowing Xun...
