〔大〕夫产后恶露不绝者，由产后伤于经血虚损不足，或分解之时，恶血不尽，在
于腹中，而脏腑挟于宿冷，致气血不调，故令恶露淋沥不绝也。
〔薛〕前证若肝气热而不能主血，用六味地黄丸。若肝气虚不能藏血，用逍遥散。若
脾气虚而不能摄血，用六君子汤。胃气下陷而不能统血，用补中益气汤。若脾经郁热而
血不归源，用加味归脾汤。若肝经怒火而血妄行，用加味四物汤。若气血俱虚，用十全
大补汤。若肝经风邪而血沸腾，用一味防风丸。一产妇恶露淋漓，体倦面黄，食少恶
寒，昼夜不寐，惊悸汗出，此脾经虚热，用加味归脾汤而痊。后因怒胁胀，作呕少食，用
六君加柴胡治之而痊。
芎归加芍药汤 治产后血崩眩晕，不知人事。
川芎 当归 芍药（各等分）
上 咀，每服四钱，以水一盅半，煎至七分，去滓，无时热服。
云岐治产后血崩如豆汁，紫黑过多者，四物汤加蒲黄、生地黄汁、阿胶、蓟根、艾、白
芷，煎服。
疗产后七八日，恶露不止。
败酱草 当归（各六分） 芍药 续断（各八分） 川芎 竹茹（各四分） 生地黄（炒干，十二分）
上细锉，以水二升，煮取八合，空心顿服。
〔丹〕二七孺人，产后冒寒哭多，血再下，身 脉沉。
当归 白术 陈皮 川芎 干姜 黄芩（各二钱） 芍药（一钱） 炙甘草（少许）
上分二帖，水煎服。
王孺人因忧虑，堕胎后两月余血不止，腹痛，此体虚气滞，恶物行不尽。
陈皮（一钱） 白术（二钱） 芍药（一钱） 木通 川芎（五分） 甘草（二分，炙）
作汤，下五芝丸六十粒，食前服。
独圣汤 疗产后亡血过多，心腹彻痛，然后血下，久而不止。亦治赤白带下，年深诸
药不能疗者，良验。
贯众（状如刺 者一个，全用，只揉去毛花蔓，用之不锉断）
上用好醋蘸湿，慢火炙令香熟，候冷为细末，用米饮调下二钱，空心食前服。
《千金》治产后恶血不尽，或经月，或半岁者。升麻三两，清酒五升，煮取二升半，分
温再服。
牡蛎散 治产后恶露淋沥不绝，心闷短气，四肢乏弱，头目昏重，烦热不思饮食，面
黄体瘦。
牡蛎（ ） 川芎 熟地黄 白茯苓 龙骨（各一两） 续断 当归 艾叶（酒炒）
人参 五味子 地榆（各半两） 甘草（二钱半）
上为末，每服二钱，水一中盏，生姜三片，枣一枚，煎至六分，去滓食前服。
《产书》产后犹有余血水气者，宜服豆淋酒。黑豆五升，熬令烟尽，于瓷器内以酒一
斗淬之。盖豆淋酒治污血，又能发表也。
治产后恶血不绝，崩血不可禁，腹中绞痛，气息急。治蓐中三十六疾。（《广济方》）
乱发（烧，一两） 阿胶（二两） 代赭石 干姜（各三两） 马蹄壳（一枚，烧） 干地黄（四两）
牛角 （五两，酥炙）
上为细末，炼蜜丸如梧桐子大。每服三四十丸，空心米饮下，日二服。
返魂丹（见前胎产大法。）
文仲、葛氏，治恶露不绝方。以锯截桑木取屑五指撮，酒服之。
又方 炙桑白皮煮水饮之。
《秘录》治胎落下血不止，以桑木中蠹虫烧末，酒服方寸匕，日二服。
疗产后泄血不止无禁度，及治腹痛胸膈闷。以姜黄为末，酒服方寸匕，日三四服。（胡
氏云∶姜黄治恶露不止。）
疗产后血不止，虚羸迨死。亦治血气。蒲黄二两，水二升，煎八合，顿服。
【大】产后恶露不绝，是由于产后经血受损、虚损不足，或者在分娩时，恶血未能排尽，滞留于腹中，加之脏腑带有宿有的寒气，导致气血不调，因此使得恶露淋漓不断。
【薛】上述证候，如果是肝气热而不能统摄血液，使用六味地黄丸（Liuwei Dihuang Wan, Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill）。如果是肝气虚而不能藏血，使用逍遥散（Xiaoyao San, Free and Easy Wanderer Powder）。如果是脾气虚而不能摄血，使用六君子汤（Liujunzi Tang, Six-Gentleman Decoction）。胃气下陷而不能统血，使用补中益气汤（Buzhong Yiqi Tang, Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction）。如果是脾经郁热而血不归源，使用加味归脾汤（Jiawei Guipi Tang, Modified Guipi Decoction）。如果是肝经怒火而血妄行，使用加味四物汤（Jiawei Siwu Tang, Modified Four-Substance Decoction）。如果是气血俱虚，使用十全大补汤（Shiquan Dabu Tang, Ten-Ingredient Great Tonic Decoction）。如果是肝经风邪而血沸腾，使用一味防风丸（Yiwei Fangfeng Wan, Single-Ingredient Saposhnikovia Pill）。有一位产妇恶露淋漓，身体疲倦，面色萎黄，食欲减退，怕冷，昼夜无法入睡，惊悸出汗，这是脾经虚热，使用加味归脾汤而痊愈。后来因为发怒导致胁肋胀满，呕吐，食少，用六君子汤加柴胡治疗而痊愈。
芎归加芍药汤：治疗产后血崩眩晕，人事不知。
川芎、当归、芍药（各等分）
以上药材切碎，每次服用四钱，用水一盅半，煎至七分，去渣，随时温热服用。
云岐治疗产后血崩如豆汁，颜色紫黑过多的情况，使用四物汤（Siwu Tang, Four-Substance Decoction）加蒲黄、生地黄汁、阿胶、蓟根、艾叶、白芷，煎服。
治疗产后七八天，恶露不止。
败酱草、当归（各六分）、芍药、续断（各八分）、川芎、竹茹（各四分）、生地黄（炒干，十二分）
以上细切，用水二升，煮取八合，空腹顿服。
【丹】一位十七岁的妇人，产后受寒且哭泣过多，再次出血，脉象沉。
当归、白术、陈皮、川芎、干姜、黄芩（各二钱）、芍药（一钱）、炙甘草（少许）
以上分为两帖，水煎服。
王姓妇人在忧虑后，堕胎后两个多月血不止，腹痛，这是体质虚弱、气机阻滞，恶物排不尽。
陈皮（一钱）、白术（二钱）、芍药（一钱）、木通、川芎（五分）、甘草（二分，炙）
作汤剂，送服五芝丸六十粒，饭前服用。
独圣汤：治疗产后亡血过多，心腹剧烈疼痛，然后才出血，久治不愈。也治疗赤白带下，多年各种药物不能治愈的情况，效果显著。
贯众（形状像刺的完整一个，全用，只揉去毛花蔓，使用时不切断）
以上用上好醋蘸湿，慢火烤至香熟，冷却后研为细末，用米饮调下二钱，空腹饭前服用。
《千金方》治疗产后恶血不尽，或持续一个月，或半年的情况。升麻三两，清酒五升，煮取二升半，分两次温服。
牡蛎散：治疗产后恶露淋沥不绝，胸闷短气，四肢乏力，头目昏重，烦热不思饮食，面色黄形体瘦弱。
牡蛎、川芎、熟地黄、白茯苓、龙骨（各一两）、续断、当归、艾叶（酒炒）、人参、五味子、地榆（各半两）、甘草（二钱半）
以上研为末，每次服用二钱，用水一中盏，生姜三片，枣一枚，煎至六分，去渣，饭前服用。
《产书》产后仍有残留的血和水气，适宜服用豆淋酒。黑豆五升，熬至烟尽，放入瓷器内用一斗酒淬之。盖豆淋酒能治污血，又能发表。
治疗产后恶血不绝，崩血不可控制，腹中绞痛，气息急促。治疗产褥期三十六疾。（《广济方》）

治疗产后泄血不止无节制，以及治疗腹痛胸膈闷。以姜黄为末，酒服方寸匕，每日三四次。（胡氏说：姜黄治疗恶露不止。）
治疗产后血不止，身体虚弱羸瘦接近死亡。也治疗血气病。蒲黄二两，水二升，煎八合，顿服。
[Da] Postpartum lochia that does not cease is caused by damage to the meridians and blood deficiency after childbirth, or by incomplete expulsion of lochia during delivery, which remains in the abdomen. Combined with pre-existing cold in the zang-fu organs, this leads to disharmony of qi and blood, resulting in continuous dripping of lochia.
[Xue] For the aforementioned syndrome: if liver qi heat fails to control blood, use Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill). If liver qi deficiency fails to store blood, use Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder). If spleen qi deficiency fails to contain blood, use Liujunzi Tang (Six-Gentleman Decoction). If stomach qi sinks and fails to command blood, use Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction). If spleen meridian depression-heat causes blood to fail to return to its source, use Jiawei Guipi Tang (Modified Guipi Decoction). If liver meridian fire-stagnation causes blood to move recklessly, use Jiawei Siwu Tang (Modified Four-Substance Decoction). If both qi and blood are deficient, use Shiquan Dabu Tang (Ten-Ingredient Great Tonic Decoction). If liver meridian wind-pathogen causes blood to boil, use Yiwei Fangfeng Wan (Single-Ingredient Saposhnikovia Pill). A postpartum patient presented with continuous dripping of lochia, fatigue, sallow complexion, poor appetite, aversion to cold, insomnia day and night, palpitations, and sweating. This was due to deficiency-heat in the spleen meridian; she recovered after taking Jiawei Guipi Tang. Later, due to anger causing hypochondriac distension, vomiting, and reduced food intake, she was treated with Liujunzi Tang added with Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) and recovered.
Xiong Gui Jiao Shaoyao Tang (Chuanxiong, Angelica Sinensis, and Peony Decoction): Treats postpartum metrorrhagia with vertigo and loss of consciousness.
Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba/Lactiflorae) (equal parts).
Coarsely crush the above herbs. Take 4 qian per dose, decoct with 1.5 zhong of water until reduced to 0.7 zhong, strain, and take warm at any time.
Yunqi treated postpartum metrorrhagia resembling bean juice with excessive purple-black color using Siwu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction) added with Puhuang (Pollen Typhae), raw Dihuang juice (Jus Radicis Rehmanniae Recens), Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini), Jigen (Radix Cirsii Japonici), Aiye (Folium Artemisiae Argyi), and Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), decocted and taken orally.
Treats postpartum lochia continuing for seven to eight days.
Baijiangcao (Herba Patriniae), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (each 6 fen); Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba/Lactiflorae), Xuduan (Radix Dipsaci) (each 8 fen); Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Zhuru (Caulis Bambusae in Taenia) (each 4 fen); Shengdihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens, stir-fried dry, 12 fen).
Finely chop the above, decoct with 2 sheng of water until reduced to 8 ge, and take on an empty stomach in one dose.
[Dan] A seventeen-year-old woman, after being exposed to cold and crying excessively postpartum, experienced recurrent bleeding with a deep pulse.
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Secati), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae) (each 2 qian); Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba/Lactiflorae) (1 qian); Zhi Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata) (a small amount).
Divide into two doses, decoct with water and take orally.
Lady Wang, due to worry and grief, suffered from continuous bleeding more than two months after abortion, accompanied by abdominal pain. This indicates constitution deficiency with qi stagnation and incomplete expulsion of lochia.
Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) (1 qian), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) (2 qian), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba/Lactiflorae) (1 qian), Mutong (Caulis Akebiae), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) (5 fen); Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, prepared) (2 fen).
Prepare as a decoction, and administer with sixty pills of Wuzhi Wan (Five-Essence Pill) before meals.
Dusheng Tang (Single-Saint Decoction): Treats postpartum excessive blood loss leading to severe heart and abdominal pain, followed by bleeding that persists for a long time. It also treats leukorrhea (red and white discharge) refractory to various medications over many years, with excellent efficacy.
Guanzhong (Rhizoma Cyathiulae, whole, shape like a thorn, remove hairs and vines, do not cut).
Moisten with high-quality vinegar, roast slowly over low heat until fragrant and cooked. Cool and grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian mixed with rice water on an empty stomach before meals.
Qianjin Fang (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats postpartum retention of evil blood lasting a month or half a year. Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae) 3 liang, clear wine 5 sheng, decoct until reduced to 2.5 sheng, divide and take warm twice.
Muli San (Oyster Shell Powder): Treats postpartum continuous dripping of lochia, chest stuffiness, shortness of breath, weakness in four limbs, heavy and dizzy head and eyes, irritability, fever, loss of appetite, sallow complexion, and emaciation.
Muli (Concha Ostreae), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Shudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Bai Fuling (Poria cum Risus), Longgu (Os Draconis/Fossilia Ossis Mastodi) (each 1 liang); Xuduan (Radix Dipsaci), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Aiye (Folium Artemisiae Argyi, wine-fried); Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Wuweizi (Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis), Diyü (Radix Sanguisorbae) (each 0.5 liang); Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (2.5 qian).
Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose with 1 zhong of water, three slices of fresh ginger, and one jujube. Decoct until reduced to 0.6 zhong, strain, and take before meals.
Chan Shu (Book of Childbirth) states that if residual blood and fluid remain postpartum, Doulin Jiu (Bean-Dripping Wine) should be taken. Black beans 5 sheng, roasted until smoke ceases, quenched in 1 dou of wine in a porcelain vessel. Bean-dripping wine treats foul blood and releases the exterior.
Treats postpartum continuous evil blood, uncontrollable metrorrhagia, colicky abdominal pain, and rapid breathing. Treats thirty-six diseases of the lying-in period. (Guangji Fang)
Luafa (Human Hair, burned, 1 liang), Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini, 2 liang), Daizheshi (Haematitum), Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Secati) (each 3 liang); Matike (Horse hoof shell, one, burned), Ganyedi Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, 4 liang); Niujiao (Cornu Bubali, 5 liang, fried with butter).
Grind into fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30-40 pills per dose with rice water on an empty stomach, twice daily.
Fanhun Dan (Soul-Returning Pill) (see previous general principles of pregnancy and childbirth).
Wenzhong and Ge Shi treat lochia non-stop with the following formula: Saw off mulberry wood, take a handful of sawdust, and take with wine.
Another prescription: Roast Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori) and decoct in water to drink.
Milu records treating continuous bleeding after abortion by burning mulberry wood borers into powder, taking a cunbi measure with wine, twice daily.
Treats uncontrolled postpartum hemorrhage and abdominal pain with chest oppression. Use Jianghuang (Rhizoma Curcumae Longae) ground into powder, take a cunbi measure with wine, three to four times daily. (Hu says: Jianghuang treats lochia non-stop.)
Treats postpartum bleeding that does not stop, leading to extreme emaciation nearing death. Also treats blood and qi disorders. Puhuang (Pollen Typhae) 2 liang, water 2 sheng, decoct until reduced to 8 ge, take in one dose.
