[Da] Whenever a woman's Shaoyin pulse is rapid and slippery, sores will inevitably develop in the vagina, known as "Shi Chuang" (Erosive Sores). These may present with pain or itching, feeling like insects crawling, discharging pus, and eroding the genitalia almost completely. This is entirely due to mental restlessness and depression, combined with weak Stomach Qi, leading to stagnation of Qi and Blood. Therefore, the classics state: "All pain, itching, and sores belong to the Heart." It also states: "The Yangming channel governs the muscles; pain and itching belong to the Heart." Treatment should involve tonifying the Heart and nourishing the Stomach, while externally employing fumigation, washing, sitz baths, or suppositories for therapy.
[Xue] The aforementioned condition is a syndrome of Liver and Spleen Qi stagnation, where excessive Wood energy generates parasites. It is appropriate to resolve stagnation and clear Liver heat. For details, refer to the section on "Sores in the Vagina" under miscellaneous diseases.
A postpartum woman who had a history of Liver Fire suffered from this condition, resulting in internal ulceration, itching, and pain, decreased appetite, fever, thirst, and dribbling urination. She was treated with Jia Wei Xiao Yao San (Modified Free and Easy Wanderer Powder) and Jia Wei Gui Pi Tang (Modified Tonify the Spleen Decoction) taken concurrently, interspersed with Lu Hui Wan (Aloe Pill), and externally washed with Herba Siegesbeckiae (Heshi Cao) decoction, resulting in recovery.
*Qian Jin Fang*: Pu Huang (Polygoni Orientalis Pollen, 3 sheng) and Shui Yin (Mercurius, 1 liang). Grind these two ingredients evenly and apply as powder to the sores.
Another prescription: Shi Fei Zhu Rou (Fat Pork, 10 jin) and Shui (Water, 1 shuo). Boil the water for soaking. Replace when cool, not exceeding two or three times.
Xi Tuo Tang Prescription (Wash and Compress Decoction):
Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 1 liang each), Gan Qi (Resina Drynariae, 1 liang each), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix, 2 liang), Gan Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, 2 liang), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 2 liang), Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, 2 liang), Gui Jia (Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis, 5 liang).
Finely cut the above herbs, boil in 7 sheng of water until reduced by half. Soak cotton cloth in the decoction and compress the affected area. Change after a long period, twice daily. After each compression, walking about ten li allows the liquid to dry. Then, apply Gan Shi San (Sweet Moist Powder) thinly over the sores to cover them thoroughly. This can last for half a day. Afterwards, compress again with the decoction, and then apply medicine as before.
My family's maid suffered from this disease, which did not improve with medical treatment. The eroded area formed two sores, half an cun deep. I consulted this prescription and used my own prepared Ran She Dan San (Python Gallbladder Powder). Within seven days, the sores healed flatly, proving very effective. I have treated dozens of people with this method, all recovering promptly. Please disseminate this widely.
Gan Shi San (also known as Ran She Dan San) treats Yin erosion caused by Chan worms (parasitic infections).
Ran She Dan (Gallus Pythonis, authentic), Qing Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Shi Liu Huang (Sulfur), Tie Jing (Ferrum), She Xiang (Moschus) (each 4 fen. Adjust quantity according to need. Moschus repels snake venom; if mixed beforehand, the gallbladder loses efficacy. Old methods used Toad collected on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month).
Grind the six ingredients into equal parts powder, then refine further. Take an amount equivalent to three chess pieces, mix with well water, and take twice daily. After administration, ensure bowel movement is clear. Then, fumigate the lower part with the following Peach Twig method. Insert the medicine (size of a chess piece) into a bamboo tube and blow it into the lower orifice. Use twice, reducing dosage for the elderly. Fumigation is done once daily; no repetition needed, which is excellent.
Prescription for Chan worms eroding the lower part and five Zang organs: Take seven or nine branches from the southeast side of a peach tree, lightly crush the heads to scatter fibers; wrap with cotton. Grind Shi Liu Huang (Sulfur) into powder. Wrap the cotton around the peach twig, twisting to coat with powder slightly thickened. Cut a short bamboo tube, insert it into the lower orifice first, then burn the coated peach twig to fumigate.
Wen Zhong's prescription for severe Yin erosion: Mix Toad and Rabbit Urine in equal parts into powder and apply. Effective.
Ye Lang Ya Tang (Wild Wolf Tooth Decoction) (*Gu Jin Lu Yan*) treats female Yin erosion with rotting injuries, dripping pus, and foul odor.
Ye Lang Ya (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, 3 liang).
Chop finely, boil in 4 sheng of water until 0.5 sheng remains. Strain, add Ku Jiu (Bitter Vinegar) the size of a chicken egg yolk, dissolve in one cup of boiling water. At night, when temperature is comfortable, wrap cotton around a chopstick head (size of a cocoon), dip in the decoction, and drip into the sores four to five times daily until cured.
*Bu Yi* (Supplement) treats vaginal sores postpartum.
Qing Dai (Indici Folium), Huang Dan (Lithargyrum), Shui Fen (Lead Carbonate), Wu Bei Zi (Galla Chinensis) (equal parts ground to powder).
Burn towels used in meat shops to ash, mix with the above medicines. First wash with decoction of Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Herba), Bo He (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), and Bai Ye (Platycladi Cacumen). Apply powder after cleaning. If sores are dry, mix powder with oil and apply.
Another prescription: Ping Wei San (Calm the Stomach Powder) plus Guan Zhong (Cyatheae Spora) powder. Two qian per dose. Mix with cooked pig liver and insert into the vagina.
