Herbs: Lotus seed meat (Qianren, removed of heart, stir-fried).
Usage: Grind the above herbs into fine powder. Take one qian each time, mixed with rice water for administration. Another method uses Chinese yam (Shanyao) ground into powder, taken with rice water, which is also effective.

Herbs: Lean pork (one liang, sliced thinly), Nifen (Calomel, Mercurous chloride).
Usage: Slowly roast the pork over charcoal fire, then spread Calomel on it, roasting until it becomes a meat preservative. Give a small amount to the infant. Usage: Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Use vinegar and wheat paste to make pills, sized like soap seeds, shaped into cakes. Record the causative dietary factor; decoct this factor or use wheat soup to send down one pill, chewing thoroughly before swallowing. The accumulation will gradually move downward. Re-administration causes further downward movement; another pill will expel the accumulation naturally. For routine unblocking, simply use wheat soup. Treats blood accumulations, masses, amenorrhea, chronic dysentery with pus and blood in adults and children, and chronic foul dysentery.
