钱氏云∶三黄丸治腹热痛（热痛腰不曲肢不冷也） 夜啼面赤，唇焦便赤，用人参汤吞下。（方见里热）
吉氏朱砂膏 治诸惊啼夜啼。
朱砂 人参 白茯苓 甘草（各一钱） 脑麝（各少许）
上末，蜜为丸。每服一块如皂子大，金银薄荷汤下。
安神散 治一应惊啼。
犀角 雄黄 人参 车前子（各半两） 茯苓（一两）
上五味为末。每服一钱，桃仁汤下。
《三因》灯花散 治热证心躁夜啼，以灯花三四颗，研细，用灯心煎汤、调涂口中，
以乳汁送下，日三服，无灯花、用灯心烧灰亦妙。又一法，灯花七枚，硼砂一
字，辰砂少许，研细，蜜调，抹唇上立安。
〔茅先生〕抹唇膏 主小儿夜啼。
蝉壳（一个，去足） 灯花（两朵） 朱砂（少许）
上为末。如小儿夜啼，遇夜用鸡冠血调药，抹儿上下两唇，即止。夹朱砂膏与服。
〔丹溪〕治小儿夜啼
人参（二钱半） 黄连（一钱半） 甘草（炙，五分） 竹叶（二十片） 生姜（一片）
上，水煎服。
《澹寮》龙齿散（方见前，即《本事》龙齿散，但无羌活。）
小儿夜啼。黄连姜汁炒、甘草、竹叶、灯心煎服。
《三因》蒲黄散
真蒲黄（微炒，纸铺地上出火气）
上研细。每抄些少掺舌下，时时掺之，更以温水蘸熟帛裹指，轻轻按掠之，按罢掺药。
牡蛎散（方见口疮。）
钱乙说：三黄丸治疗腹部热痛（表现为热痛时腰部不弯曲、四肢不发冷）。对于夜间啼哭、面色发红、嘴唇焦干、小便赤红的症状，用人参汤送服。（该方剂见“里热”章节）
吉氏朱砂膏治疗各种惊悸啼哭和夜间啼哭。
药材包括：朱砂、人参、白茯苓、甘草（各一钱）、冰片与麝香（各少许）。
将上述药物研成细末，用蜂蜜制成丸药。每次服用如皂角种子大小的一丸，用金银花、薄荷煎汤送下。
安神散治疗一切惊悸啼哭。
药材包括：犀角、雄黄、人参、车前子（各半两）、茯苓（一两）。
将以上五味药研成细末。每次服用一钱，用桃仁煎汤送下。
《三因方》中的灯花散治疗因热证导致的心烦意乱、夜间啼哭。取灯花三四颗，研细，用灯心草煎汤调匀涂抹于口中，再用乳汁送下，每日三次。如果没有灯花，用灯心草烧成灰使用也很好。另一种方法：取灯花七枚，硼砂一字量，辰砂少许，研细，用蜂蜜调和，涂抹在嘴唇上，孩子立即安静。
〔茅先生〕抹唇膏主治小儿夜间啼哭。
药材包括：蝉蜕（一个，去足）、灯花（两朵）、朱砂（少许）。
将上述药物研成细末。如果小儿夜间啼哭，在夜晚用鸡冠血调和药粉，涂抹在孩子的上下嘴唇上，啼哭即止。同时配合服用朱砂膏。
〔朱丹溪〕治疗小儿夜间啼哭
药材包括：人参（二钱半）、黄连（一钱半）、甘草（炙，五分）、竹叶（二十片）、生姜（一片）。
以上药物加水煎煮后服用。
《澹寮方》龙齿散（方剂见前文，即《本事方》中的龙齿散，只是没有羌活这味药）。
用于小儿夜间啼哭。用黄连经姜汁炒制，配伍甘草、竹叶，加灯心草煎服。
《三因方》蒲黄散
真蒲黄（微炒，铺在纸上以去除火气）。
将上述药物研细。每次取少量撒在舌头下面，经常撒布。再用温水浸湿熟帛包裹手指，轻轻按压擦拭口腔，按完后再次撒药。
牡蛎散（方剂见“口疮”章节）。
Qian Yi stated: Sanhuang Wan (Three-Yellow Pill) treats abdominal heat pain (manifesting as heat pain where the waist does not bend and limbs are not cold). For symptoms of night crying, flushed face, dry scorch lips, and red urine, administer with Ginseng Decoction. (The formula is seen in the section on Interior Heat).
Ji's Zhusha Gao (Cinnabar Paste) treats various types of frightful crying and night crying.
Ingredients: Cinnabar (Zhusha), Ginseng Root (Renshen), Poria (Baifuling), Licorice Root (Gancao) (each 1 qian), Borneol (Nao) and Musk (Shexiang) (each a small amount).
Grind the above into powder, form pills with honey. Take one pill the size of a soapberry seed per dose, administered with decoction of Honeysuckle Flower (Yinhuajia) and Mint (Bohe).
Anshen San (Calming Spirit Powder) treats all kinds of frightful crying.
Ingredients: Rhinoceros Horn (Xijiao - *Note: Substitute with Buffalo Horn in modern practice*), Realgar (Xionghuang), Ginseng Root (Renshen), Plantago Seed (Cheqianzi) (each half liang), Poria (Fuling) (1 liang).
Grind the above five herbs into powder. Take 1 qian per dose, administered with decoction of Peach Kernel (Taoren).
Denghua San (Lamp Wick Flower Powder) from "San Yin Fang" treats night crying caused by heat syndrome with mental restlessness. Take three or four lamp wick flowers, grind finely, mix with decoction of Rush Pith (Dengxincao) to apply inside the mouth, then swallow with breast milk. Take three times daily. If lamp wick flowers are unavailable, burning rush pith to ash is also effective. Another method: Take seven lamp wick flowers, Borax (Pengsha) one zi measure, Cinnabar (Chensha) a small amount, grind finely, mix with honey, and smear on the lips for immediate calmness.
[Mao Xiansheng] Mochun Gao (Smear Lip Ointment) mainly treats pediatric night crying.
Ingredients: Cicada Slough (Chanke) (one piece, remove feet), Lamp Wicks Flowers (Denghua) (two pieces), Cinnabar (Zhusha) (a small amount).
Grind the above into powder. If the infant cries at night, mix the medicine with rooster comb blood at night, smear on the upper and lower lips of the child, and the crying will stop immediately. Administer concurrently with Zhusha Gao.
[Zhu Danxi] Treatment for pediatric night crying
Ingredients: Ginseng Root (Renshen) (2.5 qian), Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian) (1.5 qian), Licorice Root (Gancao) (roasted, 0.5 fen), Bamboo Leaves (Zhuye) (20 leaves), Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang) (one slice).
Decoct the above ingredients in water and take orally.
Longchi San (Dragon Tooth Powder) from "Danliao Fang" (Formula seen previously, i.e., Longchi San from "Benshi Fang", but without Notopterygium Root/Qianghuo).
For pediatric night crying. Use Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian) stir-fried with ginger juice, combined with Licorice Root (Gancao), Bamboo Leaves (Zhuye), and Rush Pith (Dengxincao), decoct and take.
Puhuang San (Polygonatum Powder) from "San Yin Fang"
True Polygonatum Sibiricum Pollen (Puhuang) (lightly roasted, spread on paper to remove fire qi).
Grind finely. Take a small amount each time and sprinkle under the tongue, sprinkling frequently. Then dip a熟 cloth wrapped around the finger in warm water, gently press and wipe, and after pressing, sprinkle the medicine again.
