三拗汤（嗽）
紫苏饮子 治肺受风寒，喘热痰嗽。
紫苏叶 桑白皮 青皮 五味子 杏仁 麻黄 甘草（炙） 陈皮（各二分） 人参 半夏（各三分）
上，姜三片，水煎，温服。
小青龙汤（嗽）
麻黄杏子甘草石膏汤 治伤寒发汗后，不可更行桂枝汤，汗出而喘，无大热。下后喘亦治。
麻黄（二两，去节，汤泡去黄汁，焙干秤） 杏仁（二十五个，去皮尖） 石膏（四两，研） 甘草（一两，炙）
上锉散。每服二钱，水小盏，煎六分，去滓温服。
《金匮要略》小青龙加石膏汤 治大人小儿肺胀，咳而上气，烦躁而喘，脉浮者，心下有水。
麻黄（去节，三两，《千金》四两） 芍药 桂枝 细辛（各三两，《千金》各二两） 甘草（炙） 干姜（各三两）

上九味 咀。以水一斗，先煮麻黄减一升，去上沫，内诸药煮取三升，去滓，

栝蒌（一个大者，开一盖子） 阿胶（一分） 沙糖（半两）
上件，将二味投入栝蒌内，以盖子依旧封着，白纸都糊，入饭甑蒸两遍，倾出。
随儿大小约多少，冷服。
真珠散 治小儿气喘多涎。
真珠（末） 生犀角（镑。各半钱） 香附子（四钱） 龙脑（少许）
上为末。每服半铜钱，煎桃仁汤调下，婴儿一字，一岁以下者半钱。
〔茅先生〕小儿诸喘气急方
海螵蛸 黑牵牛（末） 牡蛎 马兜钤（去皮）
上各秤二钱，为末，拌匀。每服抄一钱，用鲫鱼淡煮汤调下。
又方
海螵蛸 牡蛎（火 ）
上等分，为末。每服一钱，用淡生姜汤调下。
紫苏饮子：治疗肺脏受风寒侵袭，出现气喘、发热、痰多及咳嗽的症状。
药材组成：紫苏叶、桑白皮、青皮、五味子、杏仁、麻黄、甘草（炙用）、陈皮（各二分），人参、半夏（各三分）。
煎服法：以上药物，加生姜三片，用水煎煮，温服。
麻黄杏子甘草石膏汤：治疗伤寒发汗后，不可再用桂枝汤的情况；症见汗出而喘，体表无大热。若经过攻下治疗后出现气喘，此方亦适用。
药材组成：麻黄（二两，去节，用热水浸泡去除黄色汁液，焙干称重）、杏仁（二十五个，去皮尖）、石膏（四两，研碎）、甘草（一两，炙用）。
煎服法：以上药物切碎成散剂。每次服用二钱，加水一小盏，煎至六分满，滤去药渣，温服。
《金匮要略》中的小青龙加石膏汤：治疗成人和儿童肺胀，咳嗽且气逆，烦躁而喘，脉象浮，心下有停水的症状。
药材组成：麻黄（去节，三两，《千金方》记载为四两）、芍药、桂枝、细辛（各三两，《千金方》记载为各二两）、甘草（炙用）、干姜（各三两）、半夏（半升，洗净）、五味子（半升，《千金方》记载为一升）、石膏（二两，捣碎）。
煎服法：以上九味药切碎。用水一斗，先煮麻黄，水量减少一升，撇去浮沫，加入其余药物，煎取三升药液，滤去药渣。体质强壮者一次服用一升，体弱者减量，每日三次服用；小儿服用四合。

〔吉氏〕治疗小儿因受冷导致气喘、痰涎多的方子
药材组成：栝蒌（一个大者，切开一个盖子）、阿胶（一分）、沙糖（半两）。
制作与服用法：将上述两种药材投入栝蒌内，盖上盖子，用白纸完全糊住封口，放入饭甑中蒸两次，倒出药液。根据患儿年龄大小酌情决定用量，冷服。
真珠散：治疗小儿气喘、痰涎多。
药材组成：真珠（研末）、生犀角（镑成片，各半钱）、香附子（四钱）、龙脑（少许）。
煎服法：以上药物研为细末。每次服用半铜钱量，用桃仁汤调服；婴儿服用一字量，一岁以下儿童服用半钱量。
〔茅先生〕治疗小儿各种气喘、气急的方子
药材组成：海螵蛸、黑牵牛（研末）、牡蛎、马兜铃（去皮）。
煎服法：以上药物各称取二钱，研为细末，拌匀。每次取一钱，用鲫鱼淡煮的汤调服。
San'ao Tang (for cough)
Zisu Yinzi: Treats lung affected by wind-cold, presenting with wheezing, fever, profuse phlegm, and cough.
Ingredients: Folium Perillae (Zisuye), Cortex Mori Radicis (Sangbaipi), Exocarpus Citri Reticulatae Viridis (Qingpi), Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis (Wuweizi), Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren), Herba Ephedrae (Mahuang), Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gancao, honey-fried), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi) (each 2 fen), Radix Ginseng (Renshen), Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparatum (Banxia) (each 3 fen).
Administration: The above ingredients are decocted with three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) in water, taken warm.
Xiao Qinglong Tang (for cough)
Mahuang Xinggan Caoshigao Tang: Treats cases after sweating therapy for Shanghan where Guizhi Tang is contraindicated; symptoms include sweating with wheezing and no significant surface heat. It is also effective for wheezing occurring after purgation.
Ingredients: Herba Ephedrae (Mahuang) (2 liang, remove nodes, soak in hot water to remove yellow juice, dry and weigh), Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren) (25 seeds, remove skin and tips), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) (4 liang, crushed), Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gancao, honey-fried) (1 liang).
Administration: The above ingredients are cut into pieces to form a powder. Take 2 qian per dose, add a small cup of water, decoct until reduced to 60%, strain, and take warm.
Xiao Qinglong Jia Shigao Tang from *Jin Gui Yao Lue*: Treats pulmonary distension in adults and children, characterized by cough with qi rebellion, irritability, wheezing, floating pulse, and fluid retention under the heart.
Ingredients: Herba Ephedrae (Mahuang) (remove nodes, 3 liang; *Qianjin Fang* records 4 liang), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao), Ramulus Cinnamomi (Guizhi), Rhizoma Asari (Xixin) (each 3 liang; *Qianjin Fang* records each 2 liang), Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gancao, honey-fried), Rhizoma Zingiberis Siccatum (Ganjiang) (each 3 liang), Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparatum (Banxia) (half sheng, washed), Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis (Wuweizi) (half sheng; *Qianjin Fang* records 1 sheng), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) (2 liang, crushed).
Administration: The above nine ingredients are cut. Decoct in one dou of water, first boil Mahuang until the volume reduces by one sheng, skim off the foam, then add the remaining herbs. Decoct to obtain three sheng of liquid, strain. Strong patients take one sheng per dose, weak patients reduce the dose, taken three times daily; infants take four ge.

[Mr. Ji's] Formula for treating pediatric cold-induced asthma with excessive salivation
Ingredients: Fructus Trichosanthis (Gualou) (one large fruit, open a lid), Colla Corii Asini (Ejiao) (1 fen), Saccharum (Shatang) (half liang).
Preparation and Administration: Place the two ingredients inside the Gualou, replace the lid, seal tightly with white paper, and steam twice in a rice steamer. Pour out the liquid. Administer cold, adjusting the dosage according to the child's age and size.
Zhenzhu San: Treats pediatric asthma with excessive salivation.
Ingredients: Margarita (Zhenzhu, powdered), Cornu Rhinocerotis (Shengxijiao, shaved) (each half qian), Rhizoma Cyperi (Xiangfuzi) (4 qian), Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao) (a small amount).
Administration: Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Take half a copper coin weight per dose, mixed with Persicae Semen Decoction (Taoren Tang); infants take one zi weight, children under one year old take half a qian weight.

Formula 1
Ingredients: Sepiae Endoconcha (Haipiaoxiao), Radix et Rhizoma Imperatae Nigrae (Heiqianniu, powdered), Concha Ostreae (Muli), Fructus Aristolochiae (Madouling, peeled).
Administration: Weigh each ingredient at 2 qian, grind into powder, and mix well. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with light broth of Carassius auratus (Jiyu).
Another Formula
Ingredients: Sepiae Endoconcha (Haipiaoxiao), Concha Ostreae (Muli, calcined).
Administration: Equal parts, ground into powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with light decoction of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang).
