治胃热火邪吐衄。

上四味，先用三物水煎去渣，入犀角汁热服。
治口糜淋痛泻火。

上三味，水煎服。一方再加竹叶。
（一名天水散）治表里三焦湿热，泻火。
滑石（六两） 甘草（一两，研末）
新汲水调服，或灯心汤下。
治胃府无热。便闭者，不宜轻攻，用此法。
白蜜，纳铜器中，微火煎如饴，勿令焦，俟可丸，捻作挺，如指许长，如橄榄样，纳入
谷道中，以手急抱，欲大便时，乃去之。
治胃火口疮，并治脾火。
防风 甘草 黑山栀 藿香 石膏
上味，炒研末，蜜调服。
治胃热火郁，及口疮。

治膈热咽痛。

上为末，蜜丸。

白蜂蜜，放入铜器中，用微火煎至像饴糖一样浓稠，不要让它烧焦，等到可以做成丸药时，搓成条状，长度如手指粗细，形状像橄榄，纳入肛门中，用手紧紧抱住腹部，想要大便时，再取出。
治疗胃火引起的口疮，并治疗脾火。

以上药物，炒制后研成粉末，用蜂蜜调和服用。
治疗胃热郁结，以及口疮。

治疗膈部热盛引起的咽喉疼痛。

Xijiao (Rhinoceros Horn), Shengdi (Rehmannia Root), Baishao (White Peony Root), Danpi (Moutan Cortex). Another prescription adds detoxifying herbs, named Xijiao Jiedu Tang (Cyanide-Horn Detoxification Decoction). [E's Note: Detoxifying herbs include Yinhua (Honeysuckle Flower), Sheng Gancao (Raw Licorice Root), Liaodouyi (Soybean Hull), etc.]
The above four ingredients: first decoct the three ingredients (excluding Xijiao) in water, strain, then add Xijiao juice and take hot.
Treats oral ulcers and soreness, painful urinary dribbling, to purge fire.
Shengdi (Rehmannia Root), Mutong (Akebia Stem), Gancaoshao (Licorice Root Tip)
The above three ingredients, decoct in water and take. Another version adds Zhuye (Bamboo Leaf).
Universally treats various diseases of the blood category.
Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Baishao (White Peony Root)
(Also known as Tianshui San) Treats damp-heat in the exterior, interior, and Triple Burner, purges fire.
Huashi (Talcum), Gancao (Licorice Root, one tael, ground into powder)
Mix with fresh drawn water and take, or take with Dengxin Cao Tang (Juncus Decoction).
For constipation due to lack of heat in the stomach fu organs, gentle purgation is not advisable; use this method.
Bai Mi (White Honey), place in a copper vessel, simmer gently over low heat until it resembles maltose, do not let it burn, when it can be formed into pills, roll into sticks about the thickness of a finger, shaped like olives, insert into the anus, hold abdomen tightly with hands, remove only when there is an urge to defecate.
Treats mouth ulcers caused by stomach fire, and also treats spleen fire.
Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Gancao (Licorice Root), Hei Shanzhi (Black Gardenia Fruit), Huoxiang (Patchouli Herb), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum)
The above ingredients, stir-fry and grind into powder, mix with honey and take.
Treats stomach heat stagnation and mouth ulcers.
Shengma (Cimicifuga Rhizome), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), Zhiqiao (Aurantii Fructus), Banxia (Pinellia Tuber), Shihu (Dendrobium Stem), Gancao (Licorice Root), decoct in water and take.
Treats throat pain due to heat in the diaphragm.
Bohe (Mentha Haplocalyx), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Shishuang (Persimmon Frost), Gancao (Licorice Root), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Xijiao (Rhinoceros Horn), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root)
Grind the above into powder, form pills with honey.
Treats mouth ulcers, hematemesis, and epistaxis caused by stomach heat.
Shengdi (Rehmannia Root), Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root), Tiandong (Asparagus Tuber), Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber), Gancao (Licorice Root), Shihu (Dendrobium Stem), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), Yinchen (Artemisia Capillaris), Zhiqiao (Aurantii Fructus), Pipaye (Loquat Leaf), another version adds Xijiao (Rhinoceros Horn), decoct in water and take.
Cooling blood, clearing heat and detoxifying, suitable for treating mouth ulcers.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), decoct in water and take; this is Sanhuang Tang (Three-Yellow Decoction).
Treats excess heat above the diaphragm.
Jiu Jin Dahuang (Wine-treated Rhubarb Root), Mangxiao (Mirabilite), Gancao (Licorice Root), Lianqiao (Forsythia Fruit), Shanzhi (Gardenia Fruit), Bohe (Mentha Haplocalyx), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), Zhuye (Bamboo Leaf), soak in boiling water, strain, clarify and drink.
