San Guan (Three Passes) induces sweating to unblock the meridians; inducing sweating and promoting Qi circulation is the priority. Pushing backwards from Da Chang (Large Intestine) to Hu Kou (Tiger's Mouth) stops diarrhea and dysentery, cutting off the root cause. Curving the push on Pi Tu (Spleen Earth) constitutes tonification; straight pushing is the primary method for poor appetite. It can also dispel malaria, dysentery, emaciation, watery diarrhea, and chest/epigastric fullness and pain. Pinching one segment of Fei (Lung) and Li Jing (Off-Standard Meridian); pushing lightly between Li and Gan (Heavenly Stems). This meridian technique is miraculous against wind-cold cough and vomiting, worth a thousand gold. Shen Shui (Kidney Water) corresponds to the single line at Hou Xi (Post-Stream Acupoint); pushing down is tonification, pushing up is clearing. Clearing it is excellent for difficult urination; tonifying it for Kidney Deficiency is a unique classic method. Liu Jin (Six Tendons) specifically treats Spleen and Lung heat, whole-body damp-heat, and constipation; pushing it helps in cases of unconsciousness or lethargy, removing illness as easily as pouring water on snow. Zong Jin (General Tendon) and Tian He Shui (River of Heaven Water) remove heat; they treat oral heat and tongue protrusion. For Heart Meridian accumulation-fire attacking red eyes, pushing reveals the true wonderful secret. Si Heng Wen (Four Horizontal Lines) harmonizes upper and lower Qi, stopping hiccups and abdominal pain. Wu Jing Wen (Five Meridian Lines) moves Zang-Fu Qi; Ba Gua (Eight Trigrams) opens the chest and resolves phlegm most effectively. Yin-Yang differentiation removes cold and heat; it treats obstruction of both bowels and bladder, and watery diarrhea. Attacking unconsciousness and dysentery requires exhausting all saving techniques. Rou Dou Zhou (Rubbing Elbow Joint) at Tian Men (Heavenly Gate) and Hu Kou generates blood and smooths Qi, both being skilled hands. Pinching the nail joints of the five fingers: if caused by wind or fright, investigation is necessary. Xiao Tian Xin (Little Heavenly Heart) generates Kidney Water; when Kidney Water is deficient, attention must be paid. Ban Men (Board Door) specifically treats asthma attacks; Fan Men (Fan Door) fever is treated by inducing sweat. Yi Wo Feng (One Nest Wind) removes abdominal pain; Yang Chi (Yang Pool Acupoint) specifically stops headaches; Jing Ning (Jing-Ning Acupoint) treats wheezing; various Small Intestine diseases are cured swiftly like the wind.
San Guan (Three Passes): Whenever performing this method, first pinch Xin Jing (Heart Meridian), press Lao Gong (Palmspring Acupoint). For males, push up San Guan to dispel cold and add warmth, which belongs to Heat; for females, reverse this.
Liu Fu (Six Palaces): Whenever performing this method, first pinch Xin Jing, press Lao Gong. For males, push down Liu Fu to dispel heat and add coolness, which belongs to Cool; for females, reverse this, pushing up constitutes...
Hand Technique Disease-Curing Secrets:
Shui Di Lao Yue (Fishing the Moon from the Bottom of the Water) is the best; stopping heat and clearing the Heart is its strength. Fei Jing Zou Qi (Flying Through Meridians and Moving Qi) can unblock Qi; Chi Feng Yao Tou (Red Phoenix Shaking Head) assists Qi growth. Huang Feng Chu Dong (Yellow Bee Emerging from Cave) is the hottest; it treats Yin syndrome with white dysentery and watery diarrhea. Use it after sweating fails to occur, instantly opening all pores for excretion.
An Xian Zou Cuo Mo (Pressing Strings and Walking/Rubbing) moves Qi and resolves much phlegm; Er Long Xi Zhu (Two Dragons Playing with Pearl) is mild and gentle, suitable for use. Feng Huang Dan Zhan Chi (Phoenix Spreading Single Wing) removes deficiency-floating heat; Yuan Hou Zhai Guo (Monkey Plucking Fruit) moves Qi and resolves phlegm.
Huang Feng Chu Dong (Yellow Bee Emerging from Cave): Severe Heat. Method: First pinch Xin Jing, then pinch Lao Gong. First open San Guan. Then, using the left and right thumbs starting from Yin Yang area, pinch and lift once, reaching the acupoints on Li and Kan at Guan Zhong. Used for inducing sweating.
Shui Di Lao Yue (Fishing the Moon from the Bottom of the Water): Severe Cold. Method: First clear Tian He Shui. Then, kneel all five fingers; the middle finger kneels forward, followed by the four fingers. Rotate Lao Gong with the right hand, blowing cool air into it; usable for reducing heat. If Tian He Shui is taken to Lao Gong first, rotate left and blow warm air, primarily for inducing sweating, which also belongs to Heat.
Feng Huang Dan Zhan Chi (Phoenix Spreading Single Wing): Warm-Heat. Use the right thumb to pinch Zong Jin, turn the four fingers under the thumb. The thumb rises and turns again. Do this until Guan Zhong, taking acupoints with the five fingers to pinch.
Da Ma Guo He (Horse Crossing the River): Warm-Cool. After rotating Lao Gong with the right hand, bend fingers upward, flick Nei Guan (Inner Pass Acupoint), Yang Chi, Jian Shi (Intercourse Acupoint), and near Tian He Shui to generate coolness and reduce...
Fei Jing Zou Qi (Flying Through Meridians and Moving Qi): First operate Wu Jing, then spread the five fingers and roll once. Perform slapping/patting motions at Guan Zhong with the hand; this is moving and circulating Qi, usable for treating Qi disorders. Also, push Xin Jing with one hand until the horizontal lines, stop, and rub Qi Guan with the other hand to open orifices.
An Xian Cuo Mo (Pressing Strings and Rubbing): First operate Ba Gua, then use fingers to rub the patient's hand. Rub once at Guan Shang (Upper Pass), once at Guan Zhong (Middle Pass), once at Guan Xia (Lower Pass). Hold the patient's hand and shake it gently and slowly; usable for resolving phlegm.
Tian Men Ru Hu Kou (Heavenly Gate Entering Tiger's Mouth): Use the right thumb to pinch the child's Hu Kou, the middle finger to pin Tian Men, and the index finger to pin Zong Wei. With the left hand's five fingers gathered, rub Dou Zhou (Elbow Joint) and shake gently and slowly; this generates and smooths Qi. Another method: Press from Gan Palace through Kan and Gen entering Hu Kou; clears Spleen.
Yuan Hou Zhai Guo (Monkey Plucking Fruit): Grasp the skin on top of the child's snail-shaped fold with both hands and pluck it; usable for digesting food.
Chi Feng Yao Tou (Red Phoenix Shaking Head): Hold the child's head with both hands and shake it. The location is slightly above the front of the ear; treats fright.
Er Long Xi Zhu (Two Dragons Playing with Pearl): Play with the child's two earlobes with both hands; treats fright. If eyes deviate to the left, the right side is heavy; if to the right, the left is heavy. If initially frightened with no eye deviation, weight is equal on both sides. If eyes look up, the lower part is heavy; if down, the upper part is heavy.
Dan Feng Yao Wei (Red Phoenix Wagging Tail): Pinch Lao Gong with one hand and Xin Jing with the other, then shake. Treats fright.
Huang Feng Ru Dong (Yellow Bee Entering Cave): Bend the child's little finger, rub Lao Gong; expels wind-cold.
Feng Huang Gu Chi (Phoenix Drumming Wings): Pinch Jing Ning and Wei Ling acupoints, sway them back and forth; treats yellow edema.
Gu Yan You Fei (Lonely Goose Flying): Push with the thumb from outside Pi Tu, passing through San Guan, Liu Fu, Tian Men, and beside Lao Gong, returning to stop at Pi Tu; also treats yellow edema.
Yun Shui Ru Tu (Moving Water into Earth): With one hand, push from Shen Jing, passing through Dui, Gan, Kan, Gen, and press at Pi Tu. When Spleen Earth is too hyperactive and Water and Fire cannot interact perfectly, use this; essentially treating Spleen Earth deficiency.
Yun Tu Ru Shui (Moving Earth into Water): Reverse the previous method. Used for frequent, uncontrolled urination due to Kidney Water deficiency. Also treats dark, scanty, and painful urination.
Lao Han Ban Zeng (Old Man Pulling Silk): Pinch the bone at the root of the thumb with one finger, pinch Pi Jing with one hand and shake; treats masses.
Dou Zhou Zou Qi (Elbow Joint Moving Qi): Support the child's Dou Zhou with one hand and rotate it; male left, female right. Hold the child's hand with the other hand and shake; treats masses.
Yun Lao Gong (Rotating Lao Gong): Bend the middle finger to rotate the child's Lao Gong. Right rotation cools, left rotation induces sweat.
Yun Ba Gua (Rotating Ba Gua): Rotate with the thumb; male left, female right. Opens chest and resolves phlegm.
Yun Wu Jing (Rotating Wu Jing): Rub the Five Meridian Lines back and forth with the thumb; can move Zang-Fu Qi.
Tui Si Heng (Pushing Si Heng): Push Si Heng Wen back and forth with the thumb; can harmonize upper and lower Qi, usable for asthma and abdominal pain.
Fen Yin Yang (Differentiating Yin and Yang): Curl the child's fist on the back of the hand. Divide the four finger joints from the center towards both sides; separates and benefits Qi and Blood.
He Yin Yang (Harmonizing Yin and Yang): Bring the two sides together; regulates Qi and Blood.
Tian He Shui (River of Heaven Water): Pushing refers to bottom-to-top. Press Jian Shi to retreat/clear Tian He Shui.
Qia Hou Xi (Pinching Hou Xi): Pushing up is clearing, pushing down is tonification. Dark, scanty urination should be cleared; Kidney Meridian deficiency should be tonified.
Qia Gui Wei (Pinching Gui Wei): Pinch Gui Wei and rub the navel; treats infant watery diarrhea, black miasma, distension, umbilical wind, and fright such as intestinal volvulus during menstruation.
Rubbing Navel Method: After pinching Dou Zhou, press the child's lower abdomen Dantian with the left thumb without moving. Rub around with the right thumb. One way... pinch the tendon below Dou Zhou, Zong Jin above Qu Chi; treats acute fright convulsions.
Stopping Vomiting and Diarrhea Method:
Scrape Ban Men to the first segment of the middle finger and pinch it; main symptom is vomiting. Push inward from the first segment of the middle finger to stop vomiting.
Push Ban Men towards Heng Men and pinch; stops diarrhea. Push Heng Men towards Ban Men and pinch; stops vomiting.
Lift the inner side of the four fingers on the back of the hand to the horizontal line; main symptom is vomiting. Return upwards; stops vomiting.
Scrape the back of the hand to the first segment of the middle finger; main symptom is diarrhea. Pinch the outer segment of the middle finger to stop diarrhea.
If frightened by water, Ban Men is very cold; if frightened by wind, Ban Men is very hot.
If frightened, with heat and jumping, first pull the five fingers to distinguish cold and heat.
If passing yellow urine, it is heat; passing clear urine, it is cold. Push Wai Pi (Outer Spleen) to tonify deficiency and stop diarrhea.
