天府穴、（《甲乙经》作天窗穴。）会穴、气舍穴，主治瘤瘿、气逆及咽喉肿痛。通天穴，主治瘿病，灸五十壮。胸堂穴、（此处原文缺字，据上下文推测可能指特定穴位或部位，但依原文仅列名），灸一百壮。脑户穴、通天穴、消泺穴、天突穴，主治颈部有大气结聚。会穴，治疗项部瘿气流注。（《明堂经》）下云：治疗瘿病及臂部气肿。气舍穴，治疗瘤瘿。（参见咳逆上气条。）浮白穴，治疗瘿病引起的肩不能举。（《铜人腧穴针灸图经》云：治疗瘿气。）肺俞穴，治疗瘿气。瘿病伴有上气短气者，灸肺俞穴一百壮。瘿病伴有上气且胸部胀满者，灸云门穴五十壮。瘿病伴恶气者，灸天府穴五十壮。（《千金翼方》云：也可灸胸堂穴一百壮。）瘿病伴劳气者，灸冲阳穴，剂量随患者年龄而定壮数。患瘿病，灸天瞿穴三百壮，横向距离为三间寸处施灸。瘿病伴面部浮肿者，灸通天穴五十壮。患瘿病，灸中封穴，剂量随患者年龄而定壮数。各种瘿病，灸肩部左右相对凹陷处。男性左肩十八壮，右肩十七壮；女性右肩十八壮，左肩十七壮。或者反复取穴直至痊愈为止。又灸风池穴一百壮。又在两耳后发际处各灸一百壮。又灸头冲穴（一作颈冲穴），各随患者年龄而定壮数。（《千金翼方》云：一名臂臑穴。）瘿病伴恶气者，在大椎穴横向三间寸处施灸。风池穴、耳上发际处、大椎穴各灸一百壮。大椎穴两边各一寸半下方小垂处各灸三十壮。又灸臂臑穴，随患者年龄而定壮数。以上共五处，合计九个穴位。又让患者垂下双手，在两腋上方文头处各灸三百壮，针刺也良好。（《千金翼方》）
大智禅师说：皮肤、头部和面部生瘤，大的如拳头，小的如栗子，有的软有的硬，不疼痛，不可随意针灸。用天南星（生干品均可），滴少许醋研磨成膏。先用小针刺破患处使气息透达，将药膏摊在纸上贴敷。三五次更换即可痊愈。这也是一说。
治疗脑部诸节痈肿坚硬的治疗方剂：削附子使其厚如棋子大小，正放在肿块上，用少量唾液湿润附子，艾灸附子使其热力透彻。附子欲干时，就再用唾液湿润它，常令附子热力透彻。附子欲干时，就用气送入肿中，没有不愈的。此法绝妙且不轻易传人。（《千金翼方》）凡是肉瘤不要治疗，治疗则会致死。（《肘后备急方》云：不得针灸。）
Tianfu (LU3), (Jia Yi Jing refers to it as Tianchuang SI16.) Huizhong (GV7), Qishe (ST10) govern tumors, goiter, qi rebellion, and throat swelling. Tongtian (BL7) governs goiter; moxibustion of 50 cones. Xiong tang (Chest Hall, specific point name retained as per text), moxibustion of 100 cones. Naohu (GV16), Tongtian (BL7), Xiaoluo (BL9), Tiantu (CV22) govern large qi accumulation in the neck. Huizhong (GV7) treats neck goiter with flowing qi. (Ming Tang Jing) states below: treats goiter and arm qi swelling. Qishe (ST10) treats tumors and goiter. (See Cough and Reverse Qi section.) Fubai (GB12) treats goiter causing inability to raise the shoulder. (Tong Ren Shu says: treats goiter qi.) Feishu (BL13) treats goiter qi. Goiter with upward qi and shortness of breath: moxibustion on Feishu (BL13) for 100 cones. Goiter with upward qi and chest fullness: moxibustion on Yunmen (LU2) for 50 cones. Goiter with evil qi: moxibustion on Tianfu (LU3) for 50 cones. (Qian Jin Yi Fang says: also moxibustion on Xiong tang for 100 cones.) Goiter with labor qi: moxibustion on Chongyang (ST42), number of cones according to age. Goiter: moxibustion on Tianqu (EX-HN18? Text says Tian Qu, likely a specific local point or typo for Tianchuang/Tiantu context, retaining literal translation) for 300 cones, applied horizontally at a distance of three Jian Cun. Goiter with facial swelling: moxibustion on Tongtian (BL7) for 50 cones. Goiter: moxibustion on Zhongfeng (KI7), number of cones according to age. Various goiters: moxibustion on the relative concave areas on both sides of the shoulders. For males: left side 18 cones, right side 17 cones. For females: right side 18 cones, left side 17 cones. Or repeat until cured. Also moxibustion on Fengchi (GB20) for 100 cones. Also at the hairline behind both ears, 100 cones each. Also moxibustion on Tou Chong (Head Rush, one version says Neck Rush), number of cones according to age. (Qian Jin Yi Fang says: another name is Binao LI14.) Goiter with evil qi: moxibustion on Dazhui (GV14) horizontally at a distance of three Jian Cun. Fengchi (GB20), hairline above ears, Dazhui (GV14): 100 cones each. On both sides of Dazhui (GV14), 1.5 cun lateral, lower small hanging area: 30 cones each. Also moxibustion on Binao (LI14), number of cones according to age. In total five locations, nine acupoints. Also, let hands hang down, moxibustion on the upper head of the axillary region on both sides for 300 cones each. Acupuncture is also effective. (Qian Yi Fang)
Zen Master Dazhi said: Tumors appearing on the skin, head, and face, ranging from the size of a fist to a chestnut, soft or hard, painless, should not be treated with acupuncture or moxibustion arbitrarily. Use Arisaemae Rhizoma (Tiannanxing, 天南星) dried naturally, grind into paste with a few drops of vinegar. First, prick the lesion with a small needle to allow qi to penetrate, spread the medicinal paste on paper, and apply it. Change every three to five times until healed. This is another perspective.
Treatment for various nodules and firm abscesses on the brain and joints: Slice Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, 附子) to the thickness of a chess piece, place it directly on the swelling, moisten the Fuzi with a little saliva, and moxibustion on the Fuzi until the heat penetrates thoroughly. When the Fuzi dries, moisten it again with saliva, ensuring the heat always penetrates. When the Fuzi dries, use qi to enter the swelling. All cases heal. This method is superb and not transmitted easily. (Qian Jin Yi Fang) Do not treat flesh tumors (Rou Liu, 肉瘤); treatment leads to death. (Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang says: do not use acupuncture or moxibustion.)
