Dadun (LR1) is located where the hair gathers on the lateral side of the big toe. Xingjian (LR2) is noted at the arterial pulse before the junction of the first and second metatarsal bones. Posterior to this joint, a collateral connects to the Wuhui points. Taichong (LR3) is encountered two cun posterior to the aforementioned joint. Zhongfeng (LR4) is one cun anterior to the medial malleolus, adhering closely behind the large tendon, visible in the depression. Ligou (LR5) is awaited five cun above the medial malleolus. Directly upward from there is Zhongdu (LR6), and downward is Fuliu (KI7). Zhongdu (LR6) upward leads to Yinlingquan (SP9); downward, midway, leads to the tip of the medial malleolus. Xiguan (EX-LE8) is two cun below Dubi (ST35). Ququan (LR8) is at the head of the knee crease, between the two tendons. Yinbao (LR9) is four cun above the patella, between the tendons on the medial aspect, where the acupoint can be verified. Wuli (LR10) is three cun below Qichong (ST30), half a cun inward, observed on the medial thigh. Yinlian (LR11) is below the "sheep's testicle" (pubic tubercle), two cun away from Qichong (ST30). The "sheep's testicle" is one cun beside Qichong (ST30), with a nodular appearance visible in the transverse crease of the inner thigh. Zhangmen (LR13) is measured two cun above the umbilicus, taking six cun horizontally to the end of the costal margin. Qimen (LR14) is one and a half cun lateral to Rugen (ST18), directly half a cun downward, detailed between the second ribs.
Yinjiao (GV28) is in the corner of the gum seam inside the lip. Duanduan (GV27) is exactly above the upper lip. Shuigou (GV26, Renzhong) is within the groove under the nose. Suliao (GV25) should be carefully examined toward the nasal tip. The head shape is high in the north and low in the south; first, measure using the anterior and posterior hairlines. This distance is divided into one chi and two cun. Five fen above the hairline is Shenting (GV24). Five fen above Shenting is Shangxing (GV23). Xinhui (GV22) is slightly more than one cun above Shangxing (GV23). From there to Qian Ding (GV21) is one and a half cun. Baihui (GV20) resides in the center where the hair whorl is. Shencong (EX-HN1) is taken around Baihui (GV20), each one cun away, which is the method for these points. Hou Ding (GV19), Qiangjian (GV18), and Naohu (GV17) are three points, separated by one and a half cun each, generally similar. Five fen above the posterior hairline defines Yamen (GV15). Five fen above Yamen is Fengfu (GV16). Dazhui (GV14) is located between the upper and lower tails, divided into twenty-one vertebral segments. Vertebrae are the high points of bone connections, truly so. In depressions without bone, acupoints can be sought. For the upper seven vertebrae, use calculation: each segment is listed as one cun and four fen. Counting the total of seven vertebrae accurately yields nine cun and eight fen divided into seven segments; this proportional measurement follows the *Ling Shu* (Spiritual Pivot). Please examine the *Gu Du Pian* (Bone Measurement Chapter) in detail. On the first vertebra above Dazhui (GV14) is Taodao (GV13). The third vertebra is Shenzhu (GV12). Shendao (GV11), Lingtai (GV10), and Zhiyang (GV10) follow below the fifth, sixth, and seventh vertebrae. Jinsuo (GV9) resides below the ninth vertebra. Jizhong (GV11) connects at the eleventh and twelfth vertebrae. Xianshu (GV12) and Mingmen (GV4) are at the thirteenth and fourteenth vertebrae. Yangguan (EX-B2) is next below the sixteenth vertebra. Yaoshu (GV1) is squeezed at the twenty-first vertebra. Furthermore, Changqiang (GV1) resides at the tail. The fourteenth vertebral segment aligns with the umbilicus; the central seven segments' ends can be detailed. Below this are the lower seven segments; the extraordinary vessels are all intercepted at the lower vertebrae.
