太乙（神名）通常在冬至这一天居住在叶蛰宫四十六天，第二天居住在天留宫四十六天，第三天居住在仓门宫，第四天居住在阴洛宫四十六天，第五天居住在上天宫四十六天，第六天居住在玄委宫四十六天，第七天居住在仓果宫四十六天，第八天居住在新洛宫四十五天，第九天又回到叶蛰宫。数字从一处到九处，第九天又回到一处，循环往复，没有终结，周而复始。（出自《灵枢》）○起始于八个节气中得王之日，从其所在的宫位到达所对应的位置，第一天为一，第九天为九，每过一天移动一个宫位，到了第九天又返回到第一宫，周而复始，如此依次而行。计算下来，每个宫位各得五日，将五日乘以九，则一个节气的日数就完备了。（出自《铜人腧穴针灸图经》）
黄帝问：人的身形如何对应九野？岐伯回答说：请允许我说明身形与九野的对应关系。左足对应立春，其日为戊寅、己丑；左胁对应春分，其日为乙卯；左肩对应立夏，其日为戊辰、己巳；胸膺、喉咙、头部和首面对应夏至，其日为丙午；右手对应立秋，其日为戊申、己未；右胁对应秋分，其日为辛酉；右足对应立冬，其日为戊戌、己亥；腰部、尻部及下窍对应冬至，其日为壬子；六腑、膈肌以下部位以及五脏对应中州。其中最大的禁忌是：太乙所在的日子，以及所有的戊日和己日，这被称为“天忌日”。（出自《灵枢》）

[The Nine Palaces Diagram]
Taiyi (a deity name) usually resides in the Yezhe Palace for 46 days starting from the Winter Solstice. On the following day, it resides in the Tianliu Palace for 46 days; on the third day, in the Cangmen Palace; on the fourth day, in the Yinluo Palace for 46 days; on the fifth day, in the Shangtian Palace for 46 days; on the sixth day, in the Xuanwei Palace for 46 days; on the seventh day, in the Cangguo Palace for 46 days; on the eighth day, in the Xinluo Palace for 45 days; and on the ninth day, it returns to the Yezhe Palace. The sequence proceeds from one position to nine, and on the ninth day, it returns to the first. This cycle continues endlessly, repeating indefinitely (from *Ling Shu*). ○ It begins with the Wang (prosperous) days of the eight solar terms. Starting from its palace, it moves to the corresponding location: Day 1 is One, Day 9 is Nine. Each day shifts one palace, returning to the first after the ninth, cycling continuously. Calculated this way, each palace corresponds to five days. Multiplying five by nine completes the days for one solar term (from *Tong Ren*).
The Yellow Emperor asked: How does the human body correspond to the Nine Fields? Qibo replied: Please allow me to explain the correspondence between the body and the Nine Fields. The left foot corresponds to Lichun (Start of Spring), on the days Wuyin and Jichou; the left hypochondrium corresponds to Chunfen (Spring Equinox), on the day Yimao; the left shoulder corresponds to Lixia (Start of Summer), on the days Wuchen and Jisi; the chest, throat, head, and face correspond to Xiazhi (Summer Solstice), on the day Bingwu; the right hand corresponds to Liqiu (Start of Autumn), on the days Wushen and Jiwei; the right hypochondrium corresponds to Qiufen (Autumn Equinox), on the day Xinyou; the right foot corresponds to Lidong (Start of Winter), on the days Wuxu and Jihai; the waist, sacrum, and lower orifices correspond to Dongzhi (Winter Solstice), on the day Renzi; the six fu organs, the area below the diaphragm, and the five zang organs correspond to the Central Region (Zhongzhou). The greatest taboos are: the days when Taiyi resides there, as well as all Wu and Ji days. These are called "Heavenly Taboo Days" (from *Ling Shu*).
