当归 桂 芍药 细辛（各一两） 通草 甘草（各六钱三字）
上锉麻豆大，每秤三钱，水一盏半，枣一二枚，煎至七分，去滓温服。
若其人病内有久寒者，宜当归四逆汤内加吴茱萸生姜汤主之。

上锉如麻豆大，以水二大盏半，煮取七分，去滓，分二服。若急者，阴毒甘草汤、白术散、
附子散、正阳散、肉桂散、回阳丹、返阴丹。至于阴盛格阳，霹雳散、火焰散。随经部分选
用之。
若面红或赤，或红赤俱见，脉浮沉不一，细而微者，伤在少阴，肾之经也，通脉
四逆汤（又方∶甘草炙六钱二字半）
甘草（二两，炙） 附子（一两，生用，去皮，破八片） 干姜（一两，炮）
面赤者，加连须葱白九寸。腹中痛者，去葱白，加白芍药二两。呕者，加生姜二两。咽
痛者，去芍药，加桔梗一两。利止脉不出者，去桔梗，加人参二两。
上锉如麻豆大，每服秤三钱，水一盏半，煮至七分，去滓，温服。未瘥，若急，更作
一剂。其脉续续有力者愈，无力者不愈。
四逆汤，上三味是也。
当归、桂枝、芍药、细辛（各一两），通草、甘草（各六钱三分）。
将上述药材切碎如麻豆大小，每次取三钱，加水一盏半，大枣一到两枚，煎煮至七分满，滤去药渣，温服。
如果患者体内素有久寒，应当以当归四逆汤加吴茱萸生姜汤为主治方剂。
当归（一两）、桂枝（一两）、芍药（一两）、细辛（一两）、大枣（八枚）、甘草、通草（各六钱三分）、吴茱萸（七合，用热水浸泡清洗）、生姜（二两半）。
将上述药材切碎如麻豆大小，每次服用三钱，加水一盏半，煎煮至八分满，滤去药渣，温服，每日三次。这是张仲景的法度：一剂药。
吴茱萸（一两半，用热水清洗三次）、人参（三分）、生姜（一两半）、大枣（三枚）。
将上述药材切碎如麻豆大小，用两大盏半水，煎煮取七分汁，滤去药渣，分两次服用。如果病情紧急，可选用阴毒甘草汤、白术散、附子散、正阳散、肉桂散、回阳丹、返阴丹。至于阴盛格阳证，可选用霹雳散、火焰散。根据经络所属部分进行选择使用。
如果面部发红或赤红，或者红与赤同时出现，脉象浮沉不一，细而微弱者，这是伤在少阴经，即肾的经脉，应用通脉四逆汤（另一处方：炙甘草六钱二分半）。
甘草（二两，炙烤）、附子（一两，生用，去皮，破成八片）、干姜（一两，炮制）。
面部发红的，加带须葱白九寸。腹中疼痛的，去掉葱白，加芍药二两。呕吐的，加生姜二两。咽喉痛的，去掉芍药，加桔梗一两。腹泻停止但脉搏摸不到的，去掉桔梗，加人参二两。
将上述药材切碎如麻豆大小，每次服用三钱，加水一盏半，煎煮至七分满，滤去药渣，温服。若未痊愈，若病情紧急，再制作一剂。如果脉搏连续有力则病愈，无力则不愈。
四逆汤，就是由以上三味药组成的。
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Guizhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra/Lactiflorae), Xixin (Herba Asari) (each 1 liang), Tongcao (Medulla Tetrapanacis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis/Equivalentis) (each 6 qian 3 zhu).
Crush the above herbs to the size of hemp seeds. For each dose, take 3 qian, add 1.5 zhan of water and 1-2 dates. Decoct until reduced to 70% volume, remove dregs, and take warm.
If the patient has chronic cold in the interior, Danggui Sini Tang (Cinnamon Twig and Dong Quai Decoction) with added Wuzhuyu Shengjiang Tang (Evodia and Fresh Ginger Decoction) should be used as the primary treatment.
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (1 liang), Guizhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi) (1 liang), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra/Lactiflorae) (1 liang), Xixin (Herba Asari) (1 liang), Dazao (Fructus Jujubae) (8 pieces), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis/Equivalentis), Tongcao (Medulla Tetrapanacis) (each 6 qian 3 zhu), Wuzhuyu (Fructus Evodiae) (7 he, soaked and washed with hot water), Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) (2.5 liang).
Crush the above herbs to the size of hemp seeds. For each dose, take 3 qian, add 1.5 zhan of water, and decoct until reduced to 80% volume. Remove dregs and take warm, three times a day. This is the method of Zhang Zhongjing: one prescription.
Wuzhuyu (Fructus Evodiae) (1.5 liang, washed three times with hot water), Renshen (Radix Ginseng) (3 fen), Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) (1.5 liang), Dazao (Fructus Jujubae) (3 pieces).
Crush the above herbs to the size of hemp seeds. Add 2.5 large zhan of water, decoct to obtain 70% volume, remove dregs, and divide into two doses. If the condition is urgent, Yindu Gancao Tang (Yin-Toxin Licorice Decoction), Baizhu San (Atractylodes Powder), Fuzi San (Aconite Powder), Zhengyang San (Upright Yang Powder), Rougui San (Cinnamon Bark Powder), Huiyang Dan (Return Yang Pill), Fanyin Dan (Reverse Yin Pill) may be selected. For conditions of Yin excess repelling Yang (Yin Cheng Ge Yang), Pili San (Thunderbolt Powder) or Huoyan San (Flame Powder) may be used. Select according to the affected meridian portion.
If the face is red or crimson, or both red and crimson are present, and the pulse varies between floating and deep, being fine and faint, this indicates injury to the Shaoyin (Lesser Yin) channel, which is the meridian of the Kidney (Shen). Apply Tongmai Sini Tang (Pulse-Reviving Four Reversals Decoction) (Alternative formula: Zhi Gancao (Prepared Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis/Equivalentis) 6 qian 2.5 zhu).
Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis/Equivalentis) (2 liang, prepared by stir-frying), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata/Concocta) (1 liang, raw use, skin removed, broken into eight pieces), Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Secati) (1 liang, processed by frying).
For facial redness, add Jiuxiang Congbai (Scallion White with roots, 9 cun long). For abdominal pain, remove Congbai and add Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra/Lactiflorae) 2 liang. For vomiting, add Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) 2 liang. For sore throat, remove Shaoyao and add Jiegeng (Radix Platycodi Grandiflori) 1 liang. For diarrhea cessation with absent pulse, remove Jiegeng and add Renshen (Radix Ginseng) 2 liang.
Crush the above herbs to the size of hemp seeds. For each dose, take 3 qian, add 1.5 zhan of water, and decoct until reduced to 70% volume. Remove dregs and take warm. If not cured, if urgent, prepare another dose. Recovery occurs if the pulse continues to be forceful; non-recovery if it is weak.
Sini Tang (Four Reversals Decoction) consists of the above three ingredients.
