Formula for treating winding throat wind (Chan Hou Feng), throat obstruction (Hou Bi), gingival recession (Ya Xuan), toothache, mouth sores, and childhood gangrene of the teeth (Zou Ma Gan).
Take silkworm pupal skins (Can Shi Zhi) in any quantity, burn them to ash while preserving their medicinal properties.
Mix the above with refined honey to form pills the size of a chicken head. Hold in the mouth to dissolve and swallow the saliva. For gingival recession (Ya Xuan) and toothache, rub onto the gums. For mouth sores, apply dry powder to the affected area. For childhood gangrene of the teeth (Zou Ma Gan), add a small amount of Moschus (She Xiang); applying to the affected area is excellent.
