Xuan (Dispersing/Announcing), in the sense of promoting and regulating, is termed "Xuanlang" (Clear and Bright Dispersal); when a sovereign summons a minister, it is called "Xuanhuan" (Imperial Summons); when a minister executes the sovereign's decree to convey the superior's intent, all these instances reflect the meaning of Xuan.
