To treat wounds from injuries that have ulcerated and failed to heal, as well as various sores and carbuncles. Formula: Sesame oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) 23 taels, egg yolks (Galli Ovis) 10 pieces, burnt human hair (Xueyu) 3 qian, yellow beeswax (Huangla) and borneol (Zhangbing) 5 taels each, lead tetroxide (Huandan) 6 taels. First, boil the sesame oil until extremely hot. Add one egg yolk, fry until withered, then remove. Repeat this process for all ten egg yolks. Then add the burnt human hair and melt it. Filter the mixture cleanly through cotton cloth. Next, add the yellow beeswax; once melted, remove from fire and stir with a locust branch. Add the lead tetroxide and borneol. After cooling slightly, immerse in water overnight to eliminate "fire toxicity," and set aside for use. For any broken skin, sore toxins, or rotting ulcers, spread the ointment on old cotton and apply. Before application, sprinkle fine powder (Frankincense (Ruxiang), Myrrh (Moyao), and catechu (Ercha) 1 qian each, pearl (Zhenzhu) 5 fen, borneol (Bingpian) 3 fen, ground together into fine powder) onto the ointment before applying.
