Zhen Tai Dangshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, authentic Taicang variety) 8 liang, Sheng Huangqi (Astragali Radix) 1 jin, Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) and Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) each 4 liang, Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) 1 liang, Fupian (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) 5 qian. Decoct in water, concentrate into a paste, divide into two doses to take; symptoms will recede rapidly. After taking several more doses, the sore will rise and ulcerate; reduce the dosage by half, and after several more doses, it can be cured.
Use Wubeizi (Galae Chinensis) 2 liang (boiled until soft), Feizao (Saponariae Fructus) 2 liang (remove tendons, bake and grind), Zhi Rushiang (Boswelliae Cartharsii Resina, processed) and Zhi Moyao (Myrrha, processed) each 1 liang (all ground into powder).
Combine with Da Gui Tang (Great Angelica Decoction): Danggui 8 qian, Sheng Huangqi 5 qian, Yinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos) 1.5 liang, Cao Shao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, tip portion) 3 qian. For lesions in the upper part, add Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) 1 qian; for lesions in the lower part, add Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) 1 qian; for lesions in the middle part, add Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) 1 qian. Decoct with wine and take; this also treats snake venom, insect venom, and dog bite toxicity, preventing the toxin from attacking inward.
Additionally, using Shengong Tuoli San (Divine Merit Supporting Interior Powder) with double the dosage yields even better results.
