中煤炭毒，土坑漏火气而臭秽者，人受熏蒸、不觉自毙、其尸极软，与夜卧梦魔不能复
觉者相似。房中置水一盆，并使窗户有透气处，则煤炭虽臭，不能为害，饮冷水可解。或萝
卜捣汁灌之，鼻移向风吹便醒。
饮凉水即解，重则饮蓝靛汁立愈。如牙关紧闭，由鼻灌入亦可。

凡服药过多，致生疮毒，头肿如斗，唇破流血，或心口胀闷，或肚腹撮痛者，用小黑豆
、绿豆各一升，煮浓汁冷服即解。

又方∶糯米糖食之即解。此孙真人方也。或食白沙糖亦可。
又方∶如已气绝，只要心间温暖者，乃是热物犯之，只用防风二钱，煎水冷服即活。
又方∶照前解百毒方治之极效。

蔬菜中有一种叫水莨菪的植物，叶子圆形且光滑，如果误食会使人发狂，症状像中风，或者出现呕吐，用甘草煮成汁液，冷却后服用即可解毒。或者饮用“地浆”（挖地三尺取出的黄土加水搅拌后的沉淀液）也可以。

又方∶白砂糖五六两，用冷水调服，亦极效验。
另一个方子：用白砂糖五到六两，用冷水调和服用，也非常有效。
又方∶淘米水冷服三四碗，亦可。
又一个方子：淘米水，冷却后服用三到四碗，也可以。
照上解盐卤毒各方治之。

吸入煤炭毒气，如果是土坑中泄漏的火气且气味恶臭，人受到熏蒸，不知不觉就会死亡，尸体非常柔软，这与夜间睡觉做噩梦（鬼压床）无法醒来的人相似。在房间中放一盆水，并使窗户留有透气的地方，那么即使煤炭气味难闻，也不能造成危害，饮用冷水可以解毒。或者将萝卜捣碎取汁灌入，把鼻子移到通风吹到的地方就能苏醒。
饮凉水即解，重则饮蓝靛汁立愈。如牙关紧闭，由鼻灌入亦可。
饮用凉水即可解毒，病情严重的饮用蓝靛汁立刻痊愈。如果牙关紧闭，可以从鼻孔灌入。
又方∶白沙糖调冷水服，更妙。
又一个方子：用白沙糖调和冷水服用，更加奇妙。

凡是服药过量，导致产生疮毒，头部肿胀像斗一样大，嘴唇破裂流血，或者胸口胀闷，或者腹部剧烈绞痛的患者，用小黑豆和绿豆各一升，煮成浓汁，冷却后服用即可解毒。
又一个方子：将甘草熬制成膏状，每天服用几次，解毒效果神奇，即使引起腹泻也没有害处。
又方∶糯米糖食之即解。此孙真人方也。或食白沙糖亦可。
又一个方子：吃糯米糖即可解毒。这是孙思邈（孙真人）的方子。或者吃白沙糖也可以。
又方∶如已气绝，只要心间温暖者，乃是热物犯之，只用防风二钱，煎水冷服即活。
又一个方子：如果已经气息断绝，但只要胸口部位还温暖的，这是被热性毒物侵犯所致，只用防风二钱，煎煮成汤剂，冷却后服用就能复活。
又方∶照前解百毒方治之极效。
又一个方子：按照前面提到的解除各种毒物的方子来治疗，效果极佳。
口渴面赤，五心烦躁，泄痢不止者是。用黑豆一升，煮之冷冻饮料即解。
出现口渴、面色发红、双手心和双脚心及心胸烦热躁动、腹泻痢疾不止的症状，就是这种情况。用黑豆一升，煮好后放入冰中冷冻，作为饮料服用即可解毒。
又一个方子：用川黄连，煎煮成汤剂，冷却后服用也有效。
There is a plant in vegetables called *Datura meteloides* (Shuiliangdang, 水莨菪), with round and smooth leaves. If ingested by mistake, it causes madness, resembling stroke (Zhongfeng, 中风), or induces vomiting. Boiling Licorice Root (Gancao, 甘草) to make a decoction and taking it cold can detoxify it. Drinking "Earth Slurry" (Dijiang, 地浆) is also effective.
Drink raw soybean milk, two to three bowls when cold; the effect is miraculous. If unavailable at the moment, crush soybeans with cold water, filter out the dregs, and drink the liquid. Alternatively, administer a large amount of fresh goose or duck blood to induce detoxification. Avoid consuming goose and duck meat thereafter.
Another prescription: Mix five to six taels of white sugar with cold water and take orally; this is also highly effective.
Another prescription: Drink three to four bowls of rice-washing water when cold; this is also acceptable.
Treat according to the aforementioned prescriptions for salt brine poisoning.
Carbon monoxide poisoning occurs when toxic fumes leak from a pit and are foul-smelling. Victims may die unknowingly due to inhalation, leaving the corpse extremely soft, similar to those who suffer from sleep paralysis (nightmare oppression) and cannot wake up. Placing a basin of water in the room and ensuring windows have ventilation openings prevents harm even if the coal odor is strong. Drinking cold water can detoxify. Alternatively, crush radishes to extract juice and administer it; moving the nose to a breezy area will restore consciousness.
Drinking cool water resolves the condition immediately. For severe cases, drinking Indigofera tinctoria leaf juice (Landiannao, 蓝靛脑) cures it instantly. If the jaw is clenched tightly, the juice can be administered via the nasal cavity.
Another prescription: Mixing white sand sugar with cold water and taking it orally is even more wonderful.
In cases of excessive medication leading to toxic sores, with the head swollen like a bucket, lips broken and bleeding, chest distension and stuffiness, or severe abdominal cramping, boil one sheng each of black soybeans (Heidoudou, 黑豆) and mung beans (Lvdou, 绿豆) to make a thick decoction. Taking it cold detoxifies the poison.
Another prescription: Decoct Licorice Root (Gancao, 甘草) into a paste and take several times a day. It detoxifies miraculously; even if it causes diarrhea, it is harmless.
Another prescription: Eating glutinous rice candy (Nuomitang, 糯米糖) detoxifies immediately. This is a prescription from Sun Simiao (Sun Zhenren, 孙真人). Eating white sand sugar is also acceptable.
Another prescription: If respiration has ceased but the heart region remains warm, indicating invasion by heat-toxic substances, use only two qian of Saposhnikovia root (Fangfeng, 防风). Decoct in water, take cold, and life will be restored.
Another prescription: Treat according to the aforementioned general detoxification prescription for extreme efficacy.
Symptoms include thirst, red face, vexation and heat in the five centers (palms, soles, and chest), and incessant dysentery. Boil one sheng of black soybeans, freeze the resulting liquid, and drink it as a beverage to detoxify.
Another prescription: Decoct Chuan Lianlian (Coptis chinensis, 川黄连) in water, take cold, and it is also effective.
