Another prescription: Crush fresh crab into a paste, mix with cold water, and drink; this is highly effective.
Perilla frutescens (Zi Su), decocted into a concentrated juice, taken cold in one or two bowls, can detoxify it. Juice from raw lotus root (Ou), raw garlic (Suan), raw winter melon (Dong Gua), and raw black soybean (Hei Dou) can all detoxify.
Additionally, for gum swelling protruding after eating crab: use several pods of Gleditsia sinensis (Ya Zao Jiao), burn them until charred on fire, soak in Rehmannia glutinosa juice (Sheng Di Huang Zhi) for half a day, take out, burn again, and soak again. After three cycles, dry them over low heat, grind into powder, and apply cooled to the affected area.
A person who enjoyed eating Partridge developed an abscess in the throat that ulcerated, with continuous discharge of pus and blood, unresponsive to various medicines. A physician instructed him to first consume five hundred grams of old ginger, gradually decocting it in water and drinking it all, before administering further treatment; thus, he recovered. This is likely because this bird feeds on Pinellia ternata (Ban Xia), causing Ban Xia toxicity, so ginger is used to treat it.
For abdominal distension, thirst, fever, and delirious speech after consuming dog or horse meat: steam two liang of fermented soybean (Dan Dou Chi) and three liang of Apricot Kernel (Xing Ren) together, crush, and take orally, two to three times daily. Alternatively, decocting Phragmites rhizome (Lu Mao Gen) for drinking is also effective.
Another prescription: Two liang of Apricot Kernel (Xing Ren), peeled, steamed until cooked, crushed, mixed with boiling water to extract juice, and drunk. Vomiting and diarrhea are inevitable after ingestion; after three episodes of diarrhea, drink one teacup of cold vinegar or one bowl of cold congee, and recovery will follow.
Another prescription: Mix seven fen of dried Water Chestnut peel (Bi Qi Pi, roasted until charred and ground) and three fen of Purple Floating Fern (Zi Bei Fu Ping, roasted until charred and ground), blend evenly, and take with boiled water.
Human milk (Ren Ru), drinking it can detoxify. Or treat according to the previous general detoxification prescriptions.
Bitter Melon peel (Ku Gua Pi), crushed and mixed with water for drinking, is miraculous.
Another prescription: Decoct the undigested grass found in cow intestines (identified by its green moss-like color), mix with ginger, salt, and vinegar, and drink; detoxification follows.
