又方∶北细辛、北五味各二分，共捣为丸，寒痛处，立效如神。
痛在一处，齿缝有脓或无脓，皆是。明雄末二两，真小磨麻油四两，调匀含口漱片时，
吐出再漱，数次即愈。有人虫牙痛不可忍，饮食不进，百治不验，用此断根，屡试神验，此
治虫牙第一方也。
又方∶雄黄末，和枣肉为丸塞牙缝，日换数次，极验。
又方∶五倍子，煎浓汁，含漱数次，其虫立死，其患永除。

又一个方子：五倍子粉末，用冷水调匀敷在腮颊处，效果很好。
又一个方子：木患子（又名洗手果）三四个去核，用生盐塞满，加入少许雄黄，烧成炭后研成粉末，冷……
又一个方子：生丝瓜一条（又名水瓜，又名线瓜），擦少许盐，火烧至存性（保留药性），研成粉末频繁搽涂，待涎水排尽即可痊愈。
又一个方子：苋菜根烧成灰敷在患处，效果极佳。
又一个方子：北细辛、北五味子各二分，共同捣碎制成丸药，遇寒痛处使用，立即见效如神。
疼痛固定在一处，齿缝有脓或无脓，都是这种情况。明雄黄粉末二两，真小磨麻油四两，调匀后含在口中漱口片刻，吐出后再漱，数次后即可痊愈。有人虫牙痛得无法忍受，饮食不进，各种治疗方法都不见效，用此方断根，屡试屡验，这是治疗虫牙的第一方。

Yet another prescription: Take four or five jin of Hetao Qiao (Walnut Shell, also known as Hu Tao), crush into powder, add a little Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper) and edible salt, boil into a thick juice, spread out to cool, and use frequently...
This condition belongs to excess in the Yangming channel (excess heat) and deficiency in the Shaoyin channel (yin deficiency). It is suitable to use Yinvu Decoction (Jade Woman Decoction): Shudi (Rehmannia Root Preparata) five qian, Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber, remove heart) and Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) three qian each, Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) and Niuxi (Achyranthes Bidentatae Radix) one qian five fen each, decoct with water and take orally.
Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructum), Huashi (Talcum), Yinhuajia (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), Xigua Qingpi (Green Peel of Watermelon), Sheng Lüdou Pi (Raw Mung Bean Skin), and Huoshui Lugen (Fresh Reed Rhizome) each three qian, decoct with water and take orally. Or treat according to the various prescriptions for wind-fire toothache listed below.
Swelling on the outer cheek indicates this condition; pain triggered by breathing air also indicates this condition. Mash raw Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix), add a small amount of Chaonao (Borneolum Syntheticum, do not use too much), pound evenly, and apply to the affected area; spit out...
Yet another prescription: Contain aged Yanmeizi (Salted Plum) in the mouth, spit out saliva; cure after several times.
Yet another prescription: Mix Wubeizi (Chinese Gall Powder) with cold water, apply to the cheeks; very effective.
Yet another prescription: Take three or four Muhuanzi (Sapindus Fruit, also known as Xi Shou Guo), remove the pits, stuff full with raw salt, add a little Xionghuang (Realgar), burn into charcoal, grind into powder, cool...
Yet another prescription: Take one raw Sigua (Luffa Fruit, also known as Shui Gua, also known as Xian Gua), rub with a little salt, burn until carbonized (preserving medicinal properties), grind into powder, and apply frequently; cure when saliva is exhausted.
Yet another prescription: Burn Xiancaigen (Amaranth Root) into ash and apply to the affected area; extremely effective.
Yet another prescription: Mix Beixixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) and Bei Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructum) two fen each, pound together into pills; apply to cold-pain areas; immediate divine effect.
Pain fixed in one place, whether there is pus or no pus in the gum crevice, all belong to this condition. Mix two liang of Mingxionghuang (Realgar) powder with four liang of real small-mill sesame oil, blend evenly, hold in mouth and rinse for a moment, spit out and rinse again; cure after several times. Someone suffered unbearable toothache due to worms, could not eat or drink, and all treatments failed; using this prescription eradicated the root cause, tested repeatedly with miraculous results. This is the first prescription for treating worm-toothache.
Yet another prescription: Mix Xionghuang (Realgar) powder with jujube flesh to form pills, insert into tooth gaps, change several times daily; extremely effective.
Yet another prescription: Boil Wubeizi (Chinese Gall) into a concentrated juice, hold in mouth and rinse several times; the worms die immediately, and the affliction is permanently removed.
