以上药材捣碎成粗末，用米醋调和适量，装入合子中，用赤石脂密封口缝，再用盐泥加固，厚度约一个大拇指宽，稍微晾晒。待未完全干燥时，先在灰烬上洒水拌匀，从顶部开始饮用。
伏火朱砂丹
朱砂不限用量，先用少量蜂蜜拌均匀，用昆仑纸包裹，放入坩埚内，在底部铺一层厚约一指宽的黄石或禹余粮粉末，用油脂密封。晚上更换，制成糊状。

Fuhuo Zhusha Dan (Cinnabar Pill for Subduing Fire)
Longdancao (Radix Gentianae), Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis), Caowutou (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii) (each 1 liang), Chensha (Cinnabaris, 4 liang, preferably in block form).
Crush the above herbs into coarse powder. Mix with an appropriate amount of rice vinegar. Place in a capsule/container. Seal the mouth seam with Red Stone Lip (Heshi Zhi).
