Vitiligo and purpura wind are generally caused by wind pathogen; Fuzi (Aconite Lateralis Radix Preparata) and Liuhuang (Sulfur) are most effective. Rub the affected area with eggplant stalks mixed with ginger juice; if the lesion is itchy, there will be no trace. First, wipe and wash the affected area clean with coarse cloth, then rub it with eggplant stalks. One theory states that white eggplant stalks should be used for vitiligo, and purple eggplant stalks for purpura wind.

When cloud-head lesions appear and the skin feels numb, treatment should be initiated immediately. Patients must abstain from desires and maintain a bland diet; only one or two out of ten may survive, otherwise, it is difficult to cure.
