Treats men and women suffering from external injuries causing internal damage, dog bites, insect stings, falls from donkeys or horses, fractures of the hands and feet, and all kinds of pain; blood stasis in the abdomen, stabbing pain in the hypochondrium striking the heart region, hemiplegia (left-sided paralysis with right-sided flaccidity), wandering pain, carbuncles, swellings, hemorrhoids, and fistulas; for women, cold qi entering the abdomen, obstruction of blood vessels, postpartum foul blood pouring into the four limbs, breast engorgement and swelling/pain. All these conditions are suitable for taking this prescription.

*Flos Mori Ramulus* (Select branches as thick as an arm, roast over charcoal until red and smokeless, quench in rice vinegar, take out and dry-roast, 1 *jin*). *Carpini Semen* (Select the flat, thin center part of the carpini seed pod, slice thinly and sun-dry, 1 *jin*). *Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina* (1 *jin*, roast until red, quench in rice vinegar to kill toxicity, dry-roast). *Fine Ink Stick* (0.5 *jin*: half is processed by grinding 3 *liang* of *Ricini Semen* (Castor Bean) in a mortar, applying it to the ink stick, wrapping in thin paper, sealing with yellow mud, drying, then roasting over 5-7 *jin* of fire until red, covering with a basin on a cold ground for two cooking periods; the other half is applied with 2 *liang* of dissolved sand in vinegar, roasted dry). *Sojae Semen Nigrum* (1 *jin*, wipe off dirt and black skin with a wet cloth, dry-roast and weigh). *Capillus Humanus* (2 *jin*, wash clean with *Gleditsiae* water, stir-fry with 2 *jin* of oil, frequently turning until crisp). *Boswelliae Resina* (4 *liang*, must be transparent "tear" type, grind finely, boil in one bowl of rice vinegar until cooked).

The above six ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with the *Boswelliae* resin paste, pounded three thousand times, and formed into pills the size of a bullet. If there is insufficient *Boswelliae*, add vinegar paste. For severe pain, take one pill per dose; for mild cases, half a pill. Grind one pill-sized amount of *Boswelliae* and one bean-sized amount of *Boswelliae* in one cup of unadulterated wine until fully dissolved/grinded, then boil the medicine powder for three to five boils. Take warm before going to bed, lying down so that the painful area contacts the bed. To induce sweating, cover with clothes/blankets, and simultaneously apply medicine to massage the injured area. Avoid all wind-aggravating foods. For various women's diseases, add 1 *qian* of *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* powder and decoct according to the method; pregnant women must not take it.

Treats sprains and falls affecting hands and feet, brittle fractures of the tibia.

*Hirudo* (Any quantity). Roast on a new tile until fragrant and cooked, but do not over-roast. Grind into powder. Take 1 *qian* per dose, mixed with hot wine, and take together with 0.5 *qian* of *Moschus*. Do not touch the fracture site with hands. After the medicine acts for a long time, when pain is felt and the fracture site becomes itchy like ant bites, have someone knead and rub the fractured ends to align them. Immediately fixate with *Cryptomeriae Ligni* (Japanese Cedar Wood) splints. Remove after two to three days, and the bone will heal.
