Treats wind deficiency, dampness and cold, where pathogenic factors enter the Zang organs, causing delirious speech,妄语 (delirium), and mental confusion. When Liver Wind manifests, the face turns cyan, the heart feels stifled, there is vomiting with frothy saliva, hypochondriac fullness and pain accompanied by dizziness, inability to hear sounds, hemiplegia with tendon contraction, and a curled-up posture; when Heart Wind manifests, the face becomes red, sudden heat occurs, sadness and anger arise, eyes are wide open and shouting ensues; when Spleen Wind manifests, the face turns yellow, the body feels numb and insensible, walking becomes impossible, taste in food is lost, dreams are inverted and chaotic, as if following the dead; when Lung Wind manifests, the face is pale, there is coughing with rebellious Qi, expectoration of pus and blood, upward rushing of Qi, and breath becoming faint and critical; when Kidney Wind manifests, the face turns black, hands and feet become uncoordinated, lower back pain occurs, bending and extending are difficult, cold Bi syndrome causes bone pain. All these symptoms cause fright, instability of will, mental trance, and forgetfulness. Taking this decoction calms the mind, stabilizes the spirit, sharpens hearing and vision, and unblocks the Zang-Fu organs. It treats all wind diseases.
