The two types of Coptis are powdered, mixed with Cinnabar, placed inside a pig gallbladder, tied securely, suspended in a pot, and boiled for the duration of cooking a meal. Remove and grind. Add Aloe Wood (Lu Hui) and Indigo Naturalis (Qing Dai) dry powder, each 2.5 qian.
Treating Heat Gan (Childhood Malnutrition due to Heat Pathogen). Yellow and emaciated muscles, night blindness (Aurora Night Blindness), inability to see objects at night. Take with aged millet drink. (Formula see earlier.)
