Treating red and astringent urine and stool during pregnancy. Zhiqiao (Bitter Orange Fruit, removed pulp, bran-fried), Dafupi (Areca Peel), Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried; each 1 qian), Chifuling (Red Poria, peeled; 3 qian).
The above four ingredients are ground into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, decoct strongly, and take with Scallion White Decoction at any time.

Treating difficult urination, heavy body, aversion to cold, dizziness upon rising, and edema during pregnancy.
Dongkuizi (Abelmoschus Seed; 3 qian), Chifuling (Red Poria, peeled; 2 qian).
The above two ingredients are ground into fine powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mix with Rice Drink, and take at any time. Stop taking if urination becomes free; if not, it may be Zhuanbao (Cystocele/Urinary Retention due to Pregnancy), add a small amount of Hair Ash.
Shenwu Lun states: Swelling of the feet is commonly called "Zhoujiao" (Wrinkled Foot). There is also whole-body swelling and fullness, with tightness and distension in the chest and heart, named Taishui (Fetal Water). Thus, remove the clothing from the pregnant woman's chest to examine it. If the chest and abdomen are indistinguishable, urgently administer Liyu Tang (Carpsoup) three to five doses. This will cause foul water to be discharged through both large and small intestines. Once the swelling subsides and distension resolves, delivery of the dead fetus can proceed. This can be said to give the person new life. This condition arises because the abdomen enlarges during pregnancy, and the pregnant woman does not realize it. Everyone assumes this is normal for pregnancy and never considers it Taishui disease. How can physicians know? Therefore, these words are written to instruct patients' families to be vigilant.

Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, removed rhizome, wine-soaked), Baishaoyao (White Peony Root; each 3 qian), Baifuling (White Poria, peeled; 4 qian), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome; 5 qian).

If Taishui is not fully expelled, prepare another dose.

Hezi (Chebula Fruit, wrapped in flour and roasted, pitted), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome; each 1 liang), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel, white part removed), Gaoliangjiang (Galangal Rhizome, sliced and fried), Muxiang (Costus Root, avoid high heat), Baishaoyao (White Peony Root), Chenmi (Aged Rice, fried), Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried; each half liang).
The above ingredients are cut into pieces. Take 4 qian per dose. Add 1.5 zhan of water and five slices of Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger). Decoct until 0.7 zhan remains. Strain and take warm at any time. Avoid certain foods.
