痛如掣者，为寒多；肿满如脱者，为湿多；汗出者，为风多。巢氏云∶饮酒当风，汗出入水，
遂成斯疾，久而不愈，令人骨节蹉跌为癫病者，诚有此理也。

The above ingredients are ground into a fine powder, mixed with wine paste to form pills the size of mung beans, coated with *Indigo Naturalis*. Take 20 pills per dose at any time, washed down with warm wine. Avoid hot foods.

The so-called Baihu Lijie disease (White Tiger Joint Disease) often affects individuals with weak constitutions who have improper self-care. Exposure to wind, cold, dampness, and toxic pathogens causes stagnation of tendons and vessels, obstructing the flow of qi and blood, which accumulates between bone joints or in the four limbs, without changing the skin color. The condition is quiet during the day and severe at night. The pain penetrates the bones like tiger bites, hence the name White Tiger Disease. Pain resembling tearing indicates excess cold; swelling and heaviness resembling detachment indicate excess dampness; sweating indicates excess wind. Chao Yuanfang stated: Drinking alcohol while exposed to wind, or entering water while sweating, leads to this disease. If untreated for a long time, it causes joint dislocation and deformity, becoming epilepsy-like symptoms, which is indeed plausible.
