Take one handful of the eastward-growing root of *Punica granatum* (pomegranate), wash and chop it, add three sheng of water, and decoct until half a bowl remains. Take warm on an empty stomach during the wu geng period (3-5 AM). By the next morning, a large mass of worms will be expelled, permanently eliminating the root cause.
Heart pain like stabbing, with spitting of clear saliva, indicates roundworms (*Ascaris lumbricoides*). Use one sheng of white mugwort (*Artemisia argyi*), add three sheng of water, boil down to one sheng, and take orally to induce vomiting of worms. Alternatively, crush fresh mugwort to extract juice and drink it.
Three sheng of hemp seed kernel (*Cannabis sativa* seed) and eight sheng of the eastward-growing root of *Zanthoxylum bungeanum* (Sichuan pepper tree) are soaked in water. Take two sheng daily; by night, the worms will be discharged.
For white worms in the abdomen, decoct purslane (*Portulaca oleracea*) in water to make one bowl. Mix with salt and vinegar and consume on an empty stomach. After a short while, the white worms will naturally exit.
Apply raw sesame oil residue externally, wrapped in cotton cloth; worms will be expelled.
Take one handful of the white bark of *Melia azedarach* (chinaberry) root (chopped and dried over fire), add a small amount of musk (*Moschus*), and decoct in two bowls of water until one bowl remains. Drink on an empty stomach to expel red-colored worms resembling roundworms.
For ulcerative eye disease (eye malnutrition) caused by worms, chew leaves of *Rubus idaeus* (raspberry), retain the juice, place it in a tube, cover the eyes with soap gauze, and drip the juice onto the lower eyelid margin. In an instant, worms will emerge from the gauze.
Burn one egg (with shell) to ash (and grind), mix with one he of vinegar, and take warm. Expulsion of worms from the nose indicates efficacy. For severe cases, no more than three eggs are needed; this is highly effective.
Take thirty small shrimp, remove heads, feet, and shells, mash with glutinous rice until smooth, apply to the sore through gauze, and cover with another layer of gauze. After one night, remove and inspect; small red worms will be washed out.
One hu of peach leaves, crushed and placed in a narrow-mouthed vessel, sit over it for fumigation; worms will self-expel.
Two liang of powdered *Sophora flavescens* (kushen) are stuffed into a pig’s stomach, sewn shut, boiled until cooked, and the medicinal residue removed. Fast for one day. The next morning, drink one cup of clear water first, then eat the pig’s stomach. This prevents dental caries.
White peony root (*Paeonia lactiflora*)... [Text fragment]
Eyebrow loss and voice changes: Use two liang each of *Vincetoxicum hirundinaria* (pre-knowledge root) and realgar (arsenic sulfide), ground into powder. Take three liang of frankincense (*Boswellia carterii*), decoct with one dou of water in a silver pot until five sheng remain. Add the two powders and simmer until approximately one or two sheng remain; the condition will heal itself.
Three qian each of powdered *Phellodendron amurense* (phellodendron bark) and ash of *Gleditsia sinensis* (Chinese honeylocust thorn) are mixed evenly. Take with wine on an empty stomach to expel worms without harming the body. Consume white congee for two to three days, followed by qi-tonifying herbs.
