The manifestations of Li Jie Feng (Lichuan Joint Wind) include shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, dizziness with a sensation of vomiting, contracture and curvature of the fingers, emaciation of the body, a sensation that the joints are swollen as if dislocated, gradual destruction and loss of limbs, severe pain as if being pulled or torn, and inability to flex or extend. This condition arises primarily from exposure to wind while drinking alcohol, entering water for bathing while sweating, or due to a weak constitution and loose skin pores with inadequate protection, allowing pathogenic factors of Wind, Cold, and Dampness to pervade all joints. These pathogens contend with Qi and Blood, resulting in this disease. When the pain feels like pulling, it indicates an excess of Cold; when swelling feels like dislocation, it indicates an excess of Dampness; when yellow sweat appears between the joints, it indicates an excess of Wind. Generalized wandering itching, bone-deep pain, quietness during the day but exacerbation at night, and sensations resembling insect bites are termed "White Tiger Lichuan Joint" (Bai Hu Li Jie). The treatment method should employ warm herbs to resolve the toxicity of Wind, Cold, and Dampness, or use mild methods, such as Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis Decoction). As for White Tiger Lichuan Joint, the wandering itch and pain are caused by parasites. Furthermore, the Spleen governs muscles; deficiency leads to itching. If food is consumed upon feeling itchy, it may satisfy the parasites, preventing frequent biting. The Book of Documents states: "If medicine..."
