此病在下部也。当疏利而出之。脉洪大主热,多是大小便不通,或小腹结急,脐下蓄血;
或肾气攻刺,发作奔豚;或下焦停水,外肾虚肿;或风邪攻肾,脚痹腰疼;或肾脏风毒,身

To treat cold, use warm herbs; to treat heat, use cool herbs. However, stop medication once the disease is cured, for over-correction leads to excess. Frequent administration of cool herbs inevitably leads to vomiting, nausea, and internal accumulation of cold; frequent administration of warm herbs inevitably leads to irritability and sensations of flushing heat. The value lies in weighing and measuring the dosage, ensuring absolutely no overuse; this constitutes flexible treatment methods.
Individuals aged middle age or above, who habitually harbor wind-phlegm, experience intermittent abdominal pain. Upon sudden contraction of a cold pathogen, although the cold evil has been dispersed and the suffering of fever and headache has ceased, why do wind-phlegm-induced vomiting all arise simultaneously, rendering various medicines ineffective? Simply use Erchen Tang (Two-Cured Decoction) with Fuling (Poria), adding Nanmuxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) and Baidoukou (Cardamomi Fructus) as one dose. Add Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and Wumei (Mume Fructus) to decoct together, then regulate with Chuanpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Baidoukou (Cardamomi Fructus), and Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparata). If promoting urination is desired, add Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix); if promoting defecation is desired, add Zhike (Aurantii Fructus). Swallow 4-5 pills of Shenbao Wan (Divine Protection Pill). Once both large and small bowels are unblocked, there is an immediate joy of being free from medication.
The Classics state: A tight and full Renying pulse indicates injury by cold; a tight and full Qikou pulse indicates injury by food. The Liver pulse can discern the entry and exit of wind-cold; the Spleen pulse can verify the surplus or deficit of dietary intake. The Liver also governs blood; the Spleen also governs phlegm. Based on the deficiency or excess of the pulse, tonify or reduce accordingly; based on the relationship of the disease, apply targeted treatment. Please choose between these two approaches.
This disease is located in the lower part of the body. It should be drained and expelled through dispersing and purging methods. A洪大 (Hongda, surging and large) pulse indicates heat, often accompanied by obstruction of urination and defecation, or cramping and binding in the lower abdomen, with blood stasis accumulating below the umbilicus; or Kidney Qi attacking with stabbing pain, manifesting as Ben Tun (Running Piglet syndrome); or water retention in the Lower Jiao, presenting as external deficiency-type edema; or Wind Evil attacking the Kidneys, causing numbness in the legs and lower back pain; or Kidney Wind-Toxin, causing itching of sores below the body. One must recognize the syndrome pattern according to symptoms and prescribe formulas targeting the specific disease. Generally, promoting unblocking and draining is the primary principle; one must think carefully and examine thoroughly during clinical diagnosis.
For such syndromes, first use Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Zisu (Perillae Folium), Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), and Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) to resolve the cold evil and harmonize the Wei Qi (Defensive Qi). Then, after careful consideration, swallow Yangzheng Dan (Nourishing Righteousness Elixir) with Shizao Tang (Ten-Jujube Decoction). For mild cases, simply use Shenbao Wan (Divine Protection Pill) combined with Qingmuxiang Wan (Green Aucklandia Pill). Take Qianshi Xuanfeng San (Master Qian's Wind-Dispersing Powder) swallowed with a decoction made of Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Faeces), Wumei (Mume Fructus), and thick honey. This can also disperse and drain wind-toxin. Wait until the stool flows freely and smoothly, and the illness has subsided; subsequently, regulate with Erchen Tang (Two-Cured Decoction) added with Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), and Suosha (Amomi Fructus Rotundus).
