治中风，口眼歪斜，半身不遂。
白附子 白僵蚕，全蝎去毒并生用，各等为末，不拘热酒，调服二钱。
治中风，神不清。即凉膈散加青黛、蓝根。
上为细末，炼蜜为丸如弹子大，朱砂为衣，金箔盖之。每服一丸，茶清化开，临卧服。
治中风，口 ，颊腮紧急，胃中火盛，必汗不止，小便频数。

酒煎温服，不饮酒水煎服。

水二钟，生姜五片，煎服。
治卒暴中风，口噤全不能言，口眼歪斜，筋脉挛急，抽掣疼痛，风盛痰实，旋晕僵仆，
头目眩重，胸膈烦满，左瘫右痪，手足麻木，骨节烦疼，步履艰辛，恍惚不定，神志昏愦，
一切风症可服。
防风 天南星（生用，各四两） 半夏（汤泡生用） 生甘草 黄芩（各二两）
上每服一两，水二盏，生姜十片，煎服。同导痰汤合服尤好。
Treats stroke manifesting as deviation of the mouth and eyes, and hemiplegia.
Use Baifuzi (Arisaematis Cum Bile Rhizoma), Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), and Quanxie (Scorpio) [de-venomed and used raw], in equal proportions, ground into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine or water according to preference.
Treats stroke manifesting as unclear consciousness. Use Liangge San (Cool the Diaphragm Powder) added with Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis) and Lan Gen (Isatidis Radix).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a bullet, coat with Zhusha (Cinnabar), and cover with Jinbo (Gold Leaf). Take one pill per dose, dissolved in clear tea, taken before bedtime.
Treats stroke manifesting as deviation of the mouth, tightness and urgency of the cheeks and jaw, excessive fire in the stomach, inevitably leading to profuse sweating and frequent urination.
Use Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Danggui Shen (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) [each 2 qian], Gegen (Puerariae Lobatae Radix) [1.5 qian], Honghua (Carthami Flos) [1 fen], Sumu (Sappan Lignum) [0.5 fen], Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) [roasted, 1 qian], Jiu Bai (Phellodendri Cortex prepared with wine) [1 fen], Sheng Gancao (Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) [0.5 fen], Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) [1 fen].
Decoct with wine and take warm; those who do not drink alcohol may decoct with water.
Treats stroke where phlegm confounds the heart orifices, resulting in a stiff tongue and inability to speak.
Use Nanting (Arisaema Cum Bile Rhizoma) [processed with ginger], Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) [processed with ginger, each 2.5 qian], Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus) [bran-fried, 2 qian], Fuling (Poria) [peeled, 2 qian], Juhong (Citri Ruber Pericarpium) [1.5 qian], Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma], Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) [each 1 qian], Zhuru (Bambusae Caulis in Taeniam) [0.7 fen], Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) [0.5 fen].
Add two zhong of water and five slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), decoct and take.
Treats sudden severe stroke manifesting as locked jaws with complete inability to speak, deviation of the mouth and eyes, tendon and vessel spasms, twitching and pain, excess wind and solid phlegm, vertigo and sudden collapse, heavy and dizzy head and eyes, irritability and fullness in the chest and diaphragm, left hemiplegia and right paralysis, numbness in hands and feet, painful joints, difficulty walking, mental confusion and instability, and clouded consciousness. It is suitable for all wind syndromes.
Use Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Nanting (Arisaema Cum Bile Rhizoma) [used raw, each 4 liang], Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) [soaked in boiling water and used raw], Sheng Gancao (Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) [each 2 liang].
Take 1 liang per dose, add two zhan of water and ten slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), decoct and take. It is especially effective when taken together with Daotan Tang (Drain Phlegm Decoction).
