治虚老腰痛，壮筋骨，妙。
故纸（酒洗过，青盐炒二两） 川续断（一两五钱） 木瓜（一两半） 川萆 （二两）
杜仲 姜汁（炒断丝） 牛膝（酒浸，一两半） 胡桃肉（汤浸去皮，四两）
研为膏，炼蜜为丸梧子大。每七八十丸，空心盐汤、盐酒任下。
系火郁，肝火盛，木气实，有死血，有痰流注，肝急。木气实，用苍术、川芎、青皮、
当归之类。痛甚者，肝火盛以龙荟丸焙热姜汤下，是泄火之要药。死血，用桃仁、川芎。痰
流注，以二陈汤加南星、苍术、川芎。肝苦急，急食辛以散之，抚芎、川芎、苍术。
一方 治咳嗽胁痛，以二陈汤加南星、香附、青皮、青黛入姜汁。
治内有湿热，两胁痛。先以琥珀膏贴痛处，却以生姜汁吞此丸。
龙胆草 当归 大栀子 黄连 黄芩（各一两） 大黄 芦荟（各半两） 木香（一钱
半） 黄柏
上为末，面糊丸。治丸，治胁痛。曲丸，降肝火。
一方 加柴胡、川芎各五钱。
又方 加青黛五钱。
治右胁疼痛，胀满不食。
枳壳 桂心 片姜黄（各半两） 甘草（炙，一钱半）
上为末，每服二钱，姜枣汤调下，酒亦可。
治男妇一切冷气攻上，胸胁刺痛不能已，及脾胃虚冷，呕吐泄泻，膀胱小肠气，妇人血
气痛。
砂仁 甘草 茯苓 草果（煨） 肉豆蔻（煨） 川芎 小茴香（炒） 荜澄茄 麦芽 槟
榔良
上每服三钱，盐少许，空心，煎服。
Treats lower back pain caused by deficiency and old age, strengthens sinews and bones, with excellent efficacy.
Buxus Fructus (Pseudocypripedium Seed), washed in wine, stir-fried with green salt (2 liang); Dipsacus Radix (1.5 liang); Chaenomelis Fructus (1.5 liang); Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma (2 liang); Eucommiae Cortex, stir-fried with ginger juice until the fibers break; Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, soaked in wine (1.5 liang); Juglandis Semen (soaked in water, peeled, 4 liang).
Grind into a paste, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 70-80 pills each time, swallowed with salted water or salted wine on an empty stomach.
If it is due to fire stagnation, excessive liver fire, excess wood qi (liver qi), presence of dead blood (stasis), phlegm flowing and depositing, and liver tension: For excess wood qi, use Atractylodis Rhizoma, Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Angelicae Sinensis Radix, etc. If pain is severe due to excessive liver fire, use Longhui Wan (Dragon Gallbladder Pill) taken with hot ginger decoction, which is a key herb for draining fire. For dead blood (stasis), use Persicae Semen and Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma. For phlegm flowing and depositing, use Erchen Tang (Two-Cured Decoction) plus Arisaematis Rhizoma, Atractylodis Rhizoma, and Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma. The liver suffers from tension; urgently consume pungent substances to disperse it, using Fuxiong (a type of Ligusticum), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, and Atractylodis Rhizoma.
Another prescription: Treats cough with hypochondriac pain, using Erchen Tang (Two-Cured Decoction) plus Arisaematis Rhizoma, Cyperi Rhizoma, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Indigo Naturalis, added with ginger juice.
Treats internal damp-heat causing bilateral hypochondriac pain. First apply Hupo Gao (Amber Plaster) to the painful area, then swallow this pill with ginger juice.
Gentianae Radix, Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Gardeniae Fructus, Coptidis Rhizoma, Scutellariae Radix (each 1 liang); Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma, Aloe (each 0.5 liang); Aucklandiae Radix (0.15 liang); Phellodendri Cortex.
Grind all into powder, bind with wheat paste to make pills. "Zhi Wan" treats hypochondriac pain; "Qu Wan" reduces liver fire.
Another prescription: Add Bupleuri Radix and Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, each 5 qian.
Yet another prescription: Add Indigo Naturalis 5 qian.
Treats right-sided hypochondriac pain, distension, fullness, and loss of appetite.
Aurantii Fructus, Cinnamomi Cortex, Curcumae Longae Radix (each 0.5 liang); Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted (0.15 liang).
Grind all into powder, take 2 qian each time, mixed with ginger and jujube decoction, or taken with wine.
Treats all cases of cold qi attacking upwards in men and women, unceasing stabbing pain in chest and hypochondrium, as well as spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, vomiting and diarrhea, bladder and small intestine qi stagnation, and women's blood and qi pain.
Amomi Fructus, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Poria, Tsaoko Fructus (roasted), Myristicae Semen (roasted), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Foeniculi Fructus (fried), Petasitis Radix, Malto, Arecae Semen.
Take 3 qian of the mixture each time, with a little salt, decocted and taken on an empty stomach.
