(Pediatric abdominal pain is mostly caused by damage from milk and food, because the presence of accumulation prevents the smooth flow of Qi, leading to pain.)
Xiaoshi San (Cure Food Accumulation Abdominal Pain)
Baizhu (Stir-fried with soil from old walls, 2.5 qian), Maiya (Stir-fried), Suosha (Stir-fried and ground), Shanzha Rou (Stir-fried, each 1 qian), Juhong (If unavailable, substitute with Chenpi), Xiangfu Mi (Stir-fried with urine), Shenqu (Stir-fried with ginger juice), Qingpi (each 0.7 qian), Gancao (0.5 qian).
If there is insufficient Qi, add Renshen (3 fen).
If complicated by Heat, add Baishao Yao (Stir-fried, 1 qian), Huanglian (Stir-fried, 0.5 qian).
If complicated by Phlegm, add Beimu (Remove heart, stir-fried with ginger juice, 1 qian).
If complicated by Cold, add Roudoukou (Pao, remove oil, 0.5 qian), Ganjiang (Pao, 0.3 qian).
If cold and hot food accumulations cannot be distinguished, administer Suhewan (Suzhou Pill) to descend Qi, which will lead to recovery.

Another method: For abdominal heat suitable for warm dispersion, use Renshen, Baishao Yao (Wine-stir-fried), Gancao (Zhi/Stir-fried with honey), Xiangfum (Stir-fried with urine) each 4-5 fen, and a small amount of Ganjiang (Stir-fried), decocted and taken orally, which is also effective.
