Due to fatigue damaging Qi and Blood, the Zang-Fu organs become empty and unable to transform and transport food. Combined with exposure to cold wind, the ascending and descending of Yin and Yang becomes unsmooth. Clear and turbid Qi are chaotic in the Spleen and Stomach, cold and heat are not harmonized, and pathogenic factors contend with healthy Qi, resulting in Huoluan (cholera-like syndrome) affecting the upper and lower parts.
Shenghua Liuhe Tang: Indicated for postpartum Huoluan when blood stasis masses and pain have not yet been eliminated.
Ingredients: Chuanxiong Rhizome (2 qian), Danggui Radix (4 qian), Heijiang (Black Ginger), Zhigancao (Honey-fried Licorice Root), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Huoxiang (Patchouli Herb) (each 4 fen), Sharen (Amomum Fruit) (6 fen), Fuling (Poria) (1 qian).
Preparation: Add three slices of fresh ginger, decoct in water, and take orally.
Fuzi San: Indicated for postpartum Huoluan accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea, and cold extremities, provided there is no abdominal pain due to blood stasis masses.

Poria, Cardamom, and ginger slices guide the way;
Decoct in water, take warm to ensure health.
Postpartum fatigue damages the Zang-Fu organs, allowing Cold Pathogens to easily invade the Intestines and Stomach. This causes Qi rebellion leading to vomiting and inability to eat. There are also cases where vomiting is caused by residual blood stasis, or by Phlegm-Qi entering the Stomach causing unclear appetite. Treatment should be adjusted according to specific symptoms.
