For both men and women, suffering from continuous watery diarrhea due to dampness, caused by taking sour and hot agents such as *Fructus Cardamomi* (Doukou), *Fructus Mume* (Wumei), *Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens* (Jiang), and *Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata* (Fuzi), the *Classic* states: "Yang qi is depleted internally, and yin essence is damaged externally; the Sanjiao (Triple Burner) becomes blocked, and the water passages fail to flow." Water fills the skin, causing body bloating and swelling; the face appears yellow with abdominal distension; urine is reddish; pressing on both feet leaves an indentation that does not rise immediately. The *Inner Classic* states: "All dampness-induced swelling and fullness belong to Spleen Earth." One may use *Dusheng San* (Single Miracle Powder) to induce vomiting. If the season is cool or cold, it is advisable to be in a warm, windproof room with a fire basin nearby, utilizing the heat to induce sweating; subsequently, administer *Daoshui Wan* (Water-Guiding Pill) and *Yugong San* (Yu Gong Powder), according to the patient's deficiency or excess, to induce more than ten bowel movements. Once dampness is removed and swelling subsides, the condition will heal. This employs the three methods of sweating, purging, and vomiting simultaneously. After these three methods are completed and the zang-fu organs are empty, one should first nourish the stomach and intestines for two or three days with light rice gruel; then take *Wuling San* (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) and *Yiyuan San* (Benefit Origin Powder) decocted together, or taken down with *Jiedaxin Tang* (Centella Decoction). If the major pathogenic factors remain, further administration of *Shengong San* (Divine Merit Powder) can moisten dryness, differentiate yin and yang, and promote urination. After recovery, careful nursing is required. Avoid oil, salt, alcohol, fruits, and sexual intercourse for three years to prevent recurrence.
For cases presenting with upper asthma, middle abdominal fullness, acid reflux, abdominal distension, frequent gurgling sounds, and blockage preventing the free flow of Qi up and down—described by Wang Shuhe as "Qi congestion in the Sanjiao preventing its flourishing"—one may use *Dusheng San* to induce vomiting; followed by *Daoshui Wan* and *Yugong San*, lightly purging three or four times to ensure unobstructed upper and lower pathways, promoting the smooth flow of Qi and Blood without stagnation; subsequently, administer *Pingwei San* (Maintain Stomach Powder), *Wuling San*, *Yiyuan San*, and *Ganlu San* (Sweet Dew Powder), which differentiate yin and yang and promote urination, to achieve cure.
For elderly patients suffering from chronic illness and constipation with difficult, sluggish bowel movements, one may use *Shengong Wan* (Divine Merit Pill) or *Maren Wan* (Hemp Seed Pill), while frequently consuming *Kui Geng* (Malva Soup) and spinach, to naturally restore smooth bowel movements.
Regarding the "Three Consumptions" (Sanxiao), referring to conditions like Lung Xiaohe (Thirst-Dysuria) mentioned in the *Inner Classic*, administering fresh lotus root juice can lead to recovery.
The *Classic* states: "Cold sores oozing fluid," commonly known as frostbite. This condition arises from walking in ice and snow during winter. For those who do not heal after a year, apply dried, clean soil from the fields, mixed with garlic paste into cakes of thickness similar to a Daguan Tongbao coin, sized to fit the sore. Place moxa on top of the cake and moxibustion, without limiting the number of cones, until the soil dries. Remove the dry cake, replace with a wet one, and continue moxibustion until the scab feels painful and itchy, indicating the tissue has revived. Then, rinse the area with saliva-water using a brush made of twelve chicken feathers bound together, gently scrubbing the sore to avoid damaging the muscle. Dry with soft silk. Finally, apply *Muxiang Binglang San* (Aucklandia and Areca Nut Powder). Treatment in summer is even more effective.
