[Original Text] When the Spleen and Stomach are disharmonious, leading to an inability to eat, tilt the body, let both hands lean to one side, vigorously extend the body, stretch the head in coordination with the hands, pull against each other as much as possible, and gradually maintain this posture for a period. The Qi and strength should be harmonized; the same applies to movements from left to right, performed twenty-one times (three sets of seven) each. Slowly extend the arms from the front and back angles of the neck, as if pulling outward, relax the mind and body, shake twenty-one times, alternating similarly. This can resolve the disharmony of the Tai Cang (Stomach) and symptoms of emptiness and oppression in the arms and waist.
[Explanation] To treat inability to eat due to Spleen and Stomach disharmony, adopt a tilted body posture with hands leaning to one side, suddenly straighten the body, stretch and relax the head and hands, grasp and pull each other with both hands, and slowly pull for a while, maintaining the posture as much as possible. During practice, Qi and strength should be gentle and natural. Then, tilt the body to the opposite side; perform the same posture moving left and right twenty-one times each. Then, slowly extend hands from the front and back sides of the neck, as if pulling outward, relax the mind and body, and shake twenty-one times. Alternate doing so. This can alleviate disharmony of the Tai Cang (Stomach) and discomfort such as emptiness and oppression in the arms and waist.
Tai Cang: Refers to the Stomach. "Zhang Lun" in *Ling Shu* states: "The Stomach is the Tai Cang."
Summary:
This section uses exercises involving rotating the waist, extending the arms, and relaxing the mind and body to treat Spleen and Stomach diseases. The key point is that when using Qi and strength, one must remain gentle, natural, stretched, and relaxed. The method is quite symptomatic.
[Original Text] Frequently, after Zi hour and before Wu hour, untie the hair, face East, hold the fists tightly (Wo Gu), hold breath and circulate Qi for one cycle, raise hands and guide left and right, cover both ears with hands, to keep hair black and not white.
Lie down for three cycles of breathing guidance, then pinch the vessels on the sides of the neck three times with fingers, to make eyes bright.
Sit facing East, hold breath for five cycles, use the middle fingers of both hands to dip into saliva fourteen times (two sevens), rub them together, close eyes, and wipe the eye sockets. This makes eyes bright.
Sit facing East, hold breath for three cycles, twist the two nostrils with hands, to cure nasal polyps.
Sit facing East, hold breath for four cycles, click teeth without counting, to cure toothache.
Prone or side-lying, hold breath for six cycles, to cure deafness and dizziness.
Curled lying, hold breath for seven cycles, to cure chest pain and cough.
Embrace knees and squat/crouch on the ground, hold breath for eight cycles, to cure pathogenic heat from the chest above to the head, neck, ears, eyes, throat, and nose.
Remove pillow, hold fists tightly and hold breath, squat/crouch on the ground, hold breath for nine cycles, head towards East, to make Qi flow smoothly up and down in the body. Inhale slightly through the nose, to cure emaciation and impotence. Do not practice this method during heavy rain or gloomy weather.

Summary:
This section selects some Daoyin methods with tonifying effects. Head and neck methods include: covering ears, pinching the neck, wiping eyes, twisting nose, and clicking teeth. These skills have been widely applied after modification and supplementation in later generations. For example, the ear-covering method developed into the "Heavenly Drum" method (covering ears and snapping fingers against the occiput). Covering ears with both hands, pressing the middle finger with the index finger, and snapping forcefully against the occipital bone produces a drumming sound in the ears, preventing and treating tinnitus and dizziness. The neck-pinch method developed into rubbing Fengchi (GB20) and lifting large tendons. Rubbing Fengchi acupoint with both hands and lifting the large tendons at the occiput can improve neck stiffness and tension, prevent myopia and colds, and relax the cervical spine. The eye-wiping method developed into eye-rubbing. Rubbing eye orbits, corners, Jingming (BL1), Tongziliao (GB15), etc., can improve vision and prevent myopia. The nose-twisting method developed into nose-rubbing. Rubbing the sides of the nose with the backs of middle/index fingers or thumbs. Rubbing Yingxiang (LI20) on both sides of the nostrils and Suliao (DU26) beside the nose with the backs of middle/index fingers or thumbs can prevent colds and treat nasal congestion and dizziness. Combined with tooth-clicking, it forms a complete head and neck health exercise set, named "Seated Eight Section Brocade," Head and Face Health Preservation Kung Fu, etc., which are widely circulated.
